Katy Perry was the best to be smurfette then they had to cast Rihanna why?? So she can have her music be the entire soundtrack??

i fully recognize the CGI in this film is absolutely horrifying but hell, that didn't stop me from absolutely loving it as a kid! this movie was my whole personality age 9 honestly

Say what you will about the live action movies, but one thing’s for certain, Hank Azaria was both perfect and genius casting for Gargamal!

I'm really curious what you guys would think about either the original cartoon, or the animated Smurfs movie (not the one releasing soon). 

I grew up on the cartoon, so when this movie hit the theaters, my 10 year old soul was HYPE! Now that I'm older, I recognize this movie is very classic kids, but appeal to adults somehow. It's decent, a good time, but certainly not the best movie in existence. And I think I prefer its sequel. And I prefer Smurfs: The Lost Village: It expands on the lore a bit, and introduces some answers to some long awaited questions, I think. The cartoon will always be my go to though.
