Man, after SO much drama, so much character development, and so much understanding gained between these two characters, there's absolutely NO way they aren't ending up together. I mean, the Hero and the Demon King ending up together sounds like the PERFECT ending to a manga like this. Surely, the author WON'T mess it up by doing something utterly ridiculous like… oh, I dunno, pairing the MC with someone else. SURELY not.

Dogshit author can't even make a decent ending. New seasons of this anime is meaningless. Don't watch it. Every character development and other things are just goes to rubbish bin after that ending. It is like everything is perfect and then you wake up realizing it is just a dream. This anime's ending leaves a taste as shit as that feeling

spoiler; he doesnt want recognition, he wants to be loved but in the world they are from he is feared and forced to be something he isnt. he is judged based on his origin and many heroes are sent to kill him for merely existing. His "taking over the world" is his coping mechanism to justify the emptiness he feels. He is very similar to Greed from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, he feels he has to take everything he wants to fill that void.
I love this anime. I watch it a lot of times and I love the op of Season 1 and even tried to read the manga. A the romance between Emi and Maou when alas ramus came. That is so sweet until a certain something happen and don't feel watching or reading it anymore. Guess who is that

What episode is this? The last i saw was on crunchyroll, where the final episode was Emi about to tell her best human friend everything there is to know about her.
Years ago i was hoping for this series to get season 2, waiting every weeks for manga to continue, but now after the ending i cant even goes thru episode one of season 2.
Could be one of the best anime or going to be remembered and recommended but nahhh AUTHOR just gotta go with d**k go splurt splurt and I drop it the moment I heard the ending which make no sense. I can't bring myself to watch anymore knowing 0 development was done for that annoying girl chiho and all their synergy is garbage. Emi and maou has better development and synergy as displayed here in the video but author inhale some trash before writing that ending. Load of shit.
