    Sajou Wataru, who is deeply in love with his beautiful classmate Natsukawa Aika, is continuing to approach her without getting discouraged while having dreams about their mutual love. However one day he woke up thinking “I am not really fit to be together with someone as good as her, huh…” Upon realizing this, Wataru started keeping an appropriate distance towards her, much to Aika’s surprise. “Could it be that he hates me now…?” Did his intentions slip by her because she was getting impatient after arriving at the wrong conclusion!? This is the start of a romcom revolving around two people who just cant get their feelings across and both think their love is unrequited!

      The episode also shows that his toxic sister suddenly feels "regret" for lowering his self-esteem because he gave up on his crush. Every woman in this anime is an absolute red-flag and he should continue to distant himself more from them. What a shitty environment.

      My God, Natsukawa really is getting on my nerves. Such a toxic, entitled and whinging little b**ch. She whines and complains when the MC was flirting with her and now that he’s stopped she suddenly acts like he’s cheating on her! Girl, YOU told him to back off. YOU pushed him away. YOU treated him like dirt when he flirted with you. YOU rejected him. Yes he was a bit of a stalker, but you’re no better with your holier than thou act when deep down you actually liked it! Plus, the MCs sister is such a two faced skunk and a bad sibling. Destroyed your own brothers self esteem, crushed his spirit, manipulate him daily and then try to buy sympathy with your fake remorse act. Both her and Natsukawa need to jump in a bath clutching a toaster! Toxic women like them sadly exist in real life too, and people wonder why marriage and birth rates are sharply declining!

      After watching 3 episodes, think I might drop this show. I won’t condone what the MC has done, however, the fact he’s trying to be a better person was what originally pulled me in. I expected there to be growth around him but he’s not growing and everyone around him, just tries to egg him back on. The FMC is no better. Hella narcissistic and after getting what she wants, she’s upset that he’s not harassing her. She goes so far as to assault him twice for talking to other girls and talking to his sister. His sister is just as bad. The self-deprecating bit is just so overdone and sad. There’s gotta be an up to this, if episode 4 doesn’t have some character growth or do something with the story then it’ll be as bad as Rent-A-Girlfriend.

      This anime felt like more complete than a generic counterpart…at first I thought this just gonna be half-@ssed story but nope!

      Y’all want a good plot where the MC actually gets with the girl? Well we’ll y’all are in luck cuz Golden Time is a 24 ep that is about college life, which is way better than high school romance. Mc kinda fucked up in the head but he’ll manage
