Just came up with a theory, what if the only way to break the curse is true loves kiss? I know it’s obvious but this is a curse that kills any living thing, so of course no one would expect that to be what breaks it! And even if it did, no one in their right mind would try to risk doing a true loves kiss because it could wind up killing that person.
