Loved the preparatory and focused time distinction for the coders' question. Thank you for this insight.
I already had a bare bone structure/system. But it wasn't as complete as this. This video really helped!! Now I can use what I had and improve it with this. Great video 👏
I promise myself to change
44:00 Watch "The Accountant" with Ben Affleck. All of the financials for fifteen years of his corporate client have been prepared for him and laid out in a conference room. Then watch him set up his markers and pens and roll up his sleeves and then proceed to totally focused, no bs work. He completes the bulk of his assigment at astonishing speed. Inspirational fiction.

Thank you I’ve been all over the place, need something to help me take control of my life.
Thank you I’ve been all over the place, need something to help me take control of my life.
Nobody can become financially successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals. you have to contend with inflation, recession, decisions from the Feds and all. I was able to increase my portfolio by $289k in months. You have to seek for help in the right places.
Suggestion: You can tiptoe into the system by just blocking your daily. Choose one aspect such as work , personal growth, or family. This gives you time to adjust to having a particular time block on a given day to do the given task. And it can lessen the overwhelm. Time block that one category during week one and then every week add a new block to that. So the first week you may only time block for business, the second week you may time block business and personal growth, the third week you time block business personal growth and family or in whatever order works for you. By stacking day each day as you go you become more comfortable with the system and then you can take those days which grow into a week. Next you can step into the seasons and then go into the yearly planning.
I will start my reinvention today, at 3:58PM, Sep 19 23. I'll report around the guideposts in the video in this comment's edits.
Wow! Examples of how to do this. This is excellent. Nobody else on YouTube is explaining, How To.
This is the most helpful, logical, concrete guidance on life change I’ve ever heard. Thank you SO much, Cal!!

🗓 Embarked on my transformative journey on September 26th! (97 days or 🌿30+30+30+7🌿 days until January 2k24) 🌟
I might be getting on the bandwagon a bit late, but I've tweaked the timeline to suit my start date. 🛠 Anyone who's interested is welcome to hop on this thread to share updates at each timeline milestone. 🤝
E.g:
🔄 PU: Plan Update (How/what you intend to do)
🤔 RU: Reflection Update (How did it go, how the next phase can be improved)
[PU] Discipline 📆>> Sep 26 – Oct 10 [RU][PU]: Values 🌿>> Oct 11 – Nov 5 [RU][PU]: Control 🧠>> Nov 6 – Nov 30 [RU][PU]: Vision 🌐>> Dec 1 – Dec 30 [RU]
Instead of weeks, I've opted to segment each month into blocks of 5 days. ⏳
Here's my refined timeline:
🏆 Sep 26 – Oct 10: Discipline 🧘♂
💡 Oct 11 – Nov 5: Values 🌱
🛠 Nov 6 – Nov 30: Control 🤹♂
👁 Dec 1 – Dec 30: Vision 🌟
🎉 Dec 31: Year-End Review, Reflection, and Planning the next quarter 🎯
Join me in this journey and let’s keep each other accountable and disciplined! 💪 Let's reinvent our lives and embrace this endevour with clarity, purpose, and resilience!
Thanks Cal, this is really insightful! I'm in the process of overhauling various aspects in my life, and from experience I would re-order some of the steps, as follows:
Control -> Values -> Discipline -> Plan
The reason for this is that I found overcommitments to be the reason why I need to overhaul in the first place… Thus I first needed to really pare down and say "no" to things, in order to really get the breathing room to be able to re-connect to the values and what's important for me. In re-assessing what's important, I can then be in a position to adjust the disciplines and plan to do what's important.
Thank you sharing so much of your wisdom with us!
PROGRESS TRACKER
I started this bc I just got out of a relationship and moved to a new city alone (renting a room in someone's house).
I'm 24, I felt directionless, lost, I don't know what I wanna do for a career, can't focus, I feel like I lack a strong identity.
I've been following this protocol for 28 days now. Changes so far:
1.) I've gained better clarity on what I like and don't like (hobbies, ppl,
2.) I stopped smoking AND drinking
3.) I've made more progress on my side current side hustle than any of the 12+ that I've tried (no sales yet)
4.) I can see/think in months now, rather than days.
5.) My friendships are slowing morphing from less toxic/drama ppl to more healthy and focused ppl.
6.) I don't try to get everyone to like me now. Just the ppl that are more in alignment with my direction in life.
7.) I actually have hobbies now?? (So far, just the library and the gym)
I set a daily habit tracker to keep myself on track. I have a 90% success rate. Let's raise that percentage up for the month if October.
50;00 i would love to hear you with a caller with this kind of issue and have you tak it through with them in more detail. That would help a lot of people who have a major that has left them underemployed (the guy with the arts degree)
Very useful video. I appreciate Cal’s simplicity!
Curious – does anyone know how to remove unwanted news / timeline off of YouTube and Facebook? As in only see the content you choose to see, so only Facebook friends or your liked pages, then with YouTube – just your subscribers and maybe a few news headlines?
Watching on October 1 …..
I have a feeling some amazing content is about to be presented here-I’m just having a hard time getting past “drawl”…
Imagine you're a 20 year old watching this and actually giving it a shot bec wtf not
Netflix no longer delivers DVDs by mail.
I love how practical the steps are. Thank you….
Thank you!
Drawling?
Thank you so much u really open my eyes this helpful ❤
This is too complicated for a lost person.
Thankful for this. I really needed to learn that everything takes time and I'm not going to be a new person in one week. Everything is trained.
6 lakh people watched this video only 100 people will implement it
