At this point, it doesn’t matter if she leaves tomorrow or a decade from now. The damage to Star Wars is already done, and there’s really no easy fix for it.

People will still complain whoever they put in charge of Lucas films.

She’s doing what she was hired to do. There’s a club and the club has an agenda that includes moving to a “new world” but residue from the old world cannot come along, ergo all you know and love must be destroyed. Do yourself a favor and pop on the original of whatever and watch it in all its glory, and remember.

I wrote a more lengthy explanation like I usually do, but I keep hearing KK might actually be being kept around right now just so she can be sacrificed to Florida. Her survival so far being due to her helping conceal money through Lucasarts construction projects, resulting in a sort of "Mutually Assured Destruction" thing if she was fired which is why she could do what she did.

Quite possibly untrue, but allegedly she's "on staff" but has no real power right now, and it's not for a retirement, and she's going no where until Disney knows what's going to happen with all of Florida's investigations an what they decide to actually push.

To put it simply, The Acolyte somehow is reported as costing like 300 million dollars for a handful of episodes. You could afford the entire run of "Buffy" for that. As streaming is about subscription retention even if people stayed for all 10 of it's alleged episodes that's only 2.5 months of retention for a huge amount of money, the numbers don't work and nobody at an entertainment company would likely mess up that bad. Allegedly a lot of attention is being paid into how much money the parks were making as opposed to what was reported, and a lot of aspects of The Cruiser and Galaxy's Edge as things were apparently reported as going to be there that never were.

If you must know one of my sources is someone I met online who claims to work for Sun International (a competitor in the resort business) who keeps an eye on Disney. Their reliability is mixed, but they know some people I knew apparently when I worked for a resort/Casino they were a partner in. They seem to think this is far worse than it appears if you look at all the stuff around Disney, not just specific aspects of it. They are in an unusual position where they need to sacrifice big people as opposed to just peons for it to matter and survive in any form. They speculate both Iger and KK are doomed. Iger is being given a chance to produce a miracle and save himself, but KK already knows she's going to jail if they need a scapegoat for Florida as she actually did run a lot of these projects that will be questionable, and given her age and that she will likely die in a white collar prison she's moving a lot of those assets you see reported in preparation for this and so she can leave as much as possible to those she cares about since she's pretty much done. She's apparently not the first executive to ever be in a position of knowing their corporate execution date is approaching, the foreknowledge of what's going to happen being her "reward", in that she can prepare ahead of time for her disgraceful ending.

When "the future is woman".

One aspect about the Disney shows and movies are the incredible cheap chintzy costumes. Lucas in the original Star Wars didn't spend a lot on costumes. Still even the :"cheap" costumes in the original Star Wars looked authentic with the setting. The costumes in the newer Disney shows looks like they went to the nearest Disney park costume shop and grabbed something off the racks. Costumes give you an unconscious cues about the world. Look at Ashoka's headdress. It looks like part of a Halloween costume from Party City. It's a far cry from the care to detail given to costumes by Peter Jackson and his people for Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. You might not notice the costumes but part of you notices unconsciously. It impacts your perception of the movie. That's why Hollywood spent large sums on costumes and props in the past. Disney seems to think everyone is focused on the green screens and nothing else matters it's disrespectful to the story and the audience. The costumes are a symptom of a larger problem.

You guys have been saying she's getting canned, quitting, etc for the better part of a decade now. When are you gonna stop pretending you know anything?

It’s over no one cares at this point that woman destroyed multiple franchises and they let her do it over and over heads should roll over this cultural vandalism but Disney is all about the princes should of seen it coming it’s over. They should sell the franchise because it’s never coming back it needs a long rest and a reboot. Everything they’ve done should be erased from history as well because it’s beyond pathetic. Your market is young boys not girls you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to see that yet again Hollywood is blind.
