If people actually believe this is the true orign of Siddhartha, then something is wrong with them to not simply get the real information yhst exists of him out there in reality, and not in the confines of fantasy that anime represents.
Would like to point out that they did say Ancient India, which in itself not that great of way when telling a story since it was more like multiple City states rather then an actual country which does include modern day Nepal. But I get it since it sounded better really. If y’all were to look at the wiki, you guys will see that it is mentioned that he was born in Nepal

In anime pov, this might be entertaining but it'll give out a misunderstanding about Lord Buddha's character, a leader who've never used violence against anyone. When Sidhartha was still a prince, he was well talented in all aspects but never used violence. This is actually quite disrespectful. But as this is just an anime, I hope people will understand.
