      Gravidia Masques is definitely underwhelming, persona remove was wasted potential. And here I was thinking it could have a new rearguard that restands for the multi attack pattern, but then I remembered Astroea so I realized they could trade off it's crit and power skill for a multi attack skill. And ello and behold, Gravidia got Astroea treatment

      Mirei x Yuyu is so subtle here but the symbolism is amazing.
      And Vailord and Vairina better have a combined fusion in the future

      I was expecting a new Bav, but you know what, this is just better(i cant believe trickmoon overdressed, the new arms are also great). Btw, this also opens up a XoD trickmoon possibility(i hope it doesn't happen, i dont want to have another deck being f*cked by prayer dragon ratios)

      This episode was amazing, we got a trickmoon overdress, and its the first grade 1 overdress. And I love how Mirei brings up what Yu-yu has said to her about overdress.

      But I think the vailord dressboost skill needs it to be in overdress state, you can't just revive it for the dressboost which sucks a little.

      Haruka and Mirei both came to the same decision of whether to commit a critical to vanguard, and checked the same (draw) trigger afterwards, but only Mirei committed because of her faith in Vairlord, who she compares to Haruka…

      I really like how Mirei's deck is parallel to YuYu's deck. Where Trickstar being supported by Nirvana(VG supporting RG). And Trickmoon is giving support to Bavsargra(RG supporting VG).

      19:20 the answer to that is yes, it can stack. Vailord's DressBoost isn't limited to boost to the Vanguard, much like Trickmoon's. Limited to overDress state though

      This episode was great. Quick aside, obligatory f*ck Megumi for being a shite character, literally skipped out on her friends for “aNiKi,” characters like this infuriate the hell out of me lol.

      To get the very large space elephant out of the room, Gravidia Masques is…. Yeah, not great. At first I thought the persona remove skill was cool, but it’s add to hand, which means if you don’t have any PGs or you run Gravidia Peters, the skill’s not very useful. I did predict them changing the Meteor requirement at least, but for the weak af multi-attack? I dunno about that one. If Draj Masques has taught me anything about a control boss with multi-attack, they’re gonna find ways to either bounce back row or move them to soul, and intercept with their front row making your retire skills completely vanilla. Plus the fact Haruka never even declared the skill activation for the new Gravidia G2 makes me think it’s gonna have a “retire 3” requirement that works horribly with the Masques for the aforementioned reason. Gravidia in general doesn’t have a lot of rearguard options, only one that comes to mind is maybe Combine Rusher to start your multi-attack and conserve your hand. I dunno if it’ll work, but I wanna still give it a chance, even if it’s a slim one.

      Now on to the real meat of the ep, Vairlord was unprecedented, but not unwelcome. Dare I say I much prefer this to a new Bavsargra so the deck still plays the same and you don’t need to buy new G3s. New Arms cards are goddamn beautiful, makes the deck flow better. Not much else to say cause the fight showcased the new cards really damn well

      And I can't even be mad at it since it's a pretty accurate representation of playing the deck.

      Even after all these years I cant help myself from thinking of Yu-Gi-Oh vrains everytime I hear mirei voice especially everytime I heard her say the word trick

      The only ones I can see beating Danji right now are Gui/Jinki and Zakusa. Megumi is definitely getting the schooling she so desperately needs so that she can finally move on with this overdue crush arc of hers. Afterwards, Danji could potentially job to Zakusa, and then the latter gets beaten by Yuyu as the opening implies.

      You know. I was wondering why in the earlier parts of the fight Haruka announced the cards she discarded or Soul Charged, until I remembered, that best girl is blind.

      a crazy unlikely theory i have if danji lose to megumi next episode have shinobu battle her to show bad she is at rn where one of the people she hates the most have to help her get out of the uniformers they hinted shinobu would play a role in the uniformers arc but they have not anything with it beside talking with Michiru.

      I'm glad I found this video, I honestly just wanted to nerd out everything I've seen in this ep but my few friends who play the game don't watch the anime at all, and it felt nice having the same reactions and geeking out ☄☄

      I've been a fan of Bavsargra since her Trial deck! Love to see the deck trying some new interesting things instead of "arm from drop" or "here's a new beater"

      I've got a couple things to say and I'll organize them like I always do.

      – Fight was great, Mirei has got to be one of the best if not the best character they handled in all of Vanguard I'm not going to lie, OverDress season 2 was just perfect but it's too bad they didn't continue that good growth for a lot of our other OG cast members.
      – Vairlord seems good, I kinda hope the deck gets some other cc than Trickmoon in the future because if the ideal is to start using the cb2 arm then things start to get a bit heavy, also we probably won't play the hammer it doesn't seem efficient like the spear and the battledore is on the axe so I think the axe is the only new arm addition. Vairlord is great, you can actually swing rear first boosted by Vairlord this way you still get the front row power but Bavsargra will have Trickmoon as a booster meaning it gets even more power and you can still continuously cc.
      – Gravidia masque seems disappointing and we still don't know the skill of the new Gravidia alien, but masque could've done one thing different and it would've been good to me and that is through the act skill SET the meteors in drop is read of adding it to hand, could you imagine drawing 3 not only would it be good value in general it also helps the fact that you need to overall and effectively minus in order to multi attack, it's basically making it a draw 1 than 3 which I think is fair, thats the only thing I want to say they did Gravidia dirty they were playing too safe without thinking about the drawbacks enough.
      – This one is my take but its kind of sad to see people so betrayed by Megumi that they don't even realize that last episode wasn't really a bad Megumi episode, I think you have to kind of separate your hated for the way the writers just wrote her horribly since WillDress started and actually see the good bits. Personally I hope Megumi wins next episode because something we haven't seen is no masque has been brought back without losing considering the fact that both Magnolia and Megumi took masque to help protect Wonderhill she could still win but have Danji knock sense into her. I'm really over this whole crush arc and it's really tiring to read that some people think it's on purpose when it's just bad writing, they did Megumi great in Season 2 idk how we went so far downhill from there, she ADMIRES Danji, she's NOT ATTRACTED to him and even if she was the attraction was gone by the start of Season 2 you literally don't even hear her mention him much then or at all, I wish the writers actually remember the personality they started her with.

      In all seriousness, the masque has potential if played properly, otherwise its as trash as it goes

      Just found your channel. That overDress was too hype for me to resist looking for others' reactions to it.

      You know what the rough part about fighting against Nordlinger Masques is going to be? Bacubirito recycling Hellhazards. If you call Bacubirito via Masques, then soul blast for Bacubirito, you still get the retire and count-me-as-2 skills of Hellhazard without binding it if you resolve it after that. Haruka had to advertise the new cards here, so she lost because the strategy doesn't work well that way. All Willie gets is +5k power/shield if your vanguard is Nordlinger Masques.
