When I first heard about the theory that Odokawa only sees people as animals due to a mental condition (before it was confirmed in the anime ending), I assumed that he probably saw himself as a walrus because he had self-esteem issues or something and saw himself as ugly and fat.
It was incredibly wholesome to find out that, no, he actually just really likes walruses. lol
