The way Aqua asks Kana to look over Ruby and Mem even when he knows she is technically the youngest out of the group makes me think that he genuinely has some sort of special trust and bond with her.

Sadly, in the opening credits they spoil who the center is.
I can understand why Kana is upset with Aqua. I dont think she has a right to be. I think most of her anger boils down to self loathing.
This show does such a good job with fleshing out characters, that anyone in this could be an MC in their own show.
I think the producer knows they are Ai's kids. He saw the change in Ai after she gave birth. Same as Akane saw the change after a certain point as said she must of had a kid. She stoped being an idol for at least 9 months. Its an easy leap in logic for either of them.
I would pay money for a Baking Soda shirt
Pretty minor detail, but something I noticed watching the episode back, Kana was reading the same book about Internet Sea Slugs that Aqua was earlier when he was on a bench at school. Which, that could be another example of how she isn't actually mad at him if she's still reading what he's reading. Or perhaps their interests are so similar that they just happen to be reading the same book. They do have similar self-confidence issues and downplay their talents often, so it wouldn't surprise me.
