Witnesses, neighbors remain shocked after twin brothers die from drowning in Miami-Dade pond
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue divers pulled a pair of twin brothers who didn’t know how to swim out of a pond on Friday in Miami-Dade’s Pinewood neighborhood, but the teenage boys later died in the hospital, police said.
I couldn't imagine losing both of my boys in the same day. I don't know if I would be strong enough to carry on after that. Condolences to their family. This is horrible
Knowing how to swim should just be a basic…. like walking….. climbing stairs….. boiling water…. driving a car….. online shopping……Those are just life skills you need to get around in this world….. I'm not saying swim well, just have the basics, you know?? And classes should be free at the local YMCAs….. it's a doable fix….. and the life is saves could be you or someone you love!! ❤
Swimming should be a required skill learned by age 5 or 6 at the latest. I suspect the parents can't swim either is usually how it works. Fear is the mind killler.
Live in South Florida needs a learn how to swim or teach your kids at a young age that’s crazy they were playing next to the embankment of a lake and they don’t know how to swim

I remember I was and Danny Blanton Elementary School we had a pool in the cafeteria plus we have field trips to learn how to swim

I grew up in Colorado and we had in school pools. We were taught how to swim early. You know the stuff tax dollars used to be used for… the people.
We use to teach our children life skills. Now we teach them how to be a slave to corporate America.
