I suppose it is a very moral message to say that people shouldn't take everything so seriously, like we naturally don't want everyone to be stressed and to lament in response to choices and flaws, the fact that they are angels drives the point home because religion is often too serious, expecting impossible perfection and when the impossible doesn't happen then a "reasonable" God offers the cruel torture and death sentence.
