Today I decide whether I should buy the Weiss Schwarz Girls Band Cry Premium Booster Box and Girls Band Cry Trial Deck for my personal tcg collection or invest in the set in the hopes it goes up in price to resell the booster box or cards. I take a look at the card prices in Japan and the decks being played.

  1. The series got good reviews, but I think the animation style put off a lot of potential viewers, myself included. Combine that with the premium booster box stigma and I'd say I agree with your "do not invest" assessment.

  2. Fun fact about this series: It was not available for English speaking audiences to view when it initially aired in Japan. It took several months for anyone to pick up the license in spite of the fact that it seemed to have a lot of hype around it. I remember being very impressed at how well it looked for using 3D animation.
