Cygames is at least a decent enough company to pay for other horse race courses or other sports, it sounds like a scary symbiotic system

If I were the Head of Engineering at Cygames watching Joe's livestream, I would secretly increase the odds of pulling Kitasan.
Those pulls were genuinely horrible, that's insane.
1 kita in 400 pulls the low roll is real. but atleast 2 from pity so 3 copies total good enough bunch of MLB SRs which was nice & like 9 SSRs at first i was annoyed but 24 hours later im satisfied , then did 2 rolls on trainees got SSR teio & taki so my account feels pretty solid overall
Don't worry. If you have at least one Kitasan Black, you can strengthen it later using the Support Limit Release item. This item can be obtained at events, etc.
With given update speed of current global server were to continue by late 2026 they will catch up to 3rd year patch and by then there are other more useful cards than Kitasan. If you are planning to play long, kitasan wont be essential. Play just enough to collect uncapped ssr from events then you are good.

so im completely f2p and im a bit late like 2 or 3 weeks late since joe made his club.. im a member but i manage to catch up and somehow i got the best support cards.. i think my account is a lucky one..
a few hours after kitasan banner went up, i pulled kitasan in my first 10-pull and then another copy in my 3rd or 4th 10pull and thrn i stop.. i wasted some karats to pull some horse girls for another 10k karats.. and then just before i sleep i learned that kitasan would be great if you uncap her 3 to max level.. so i pulled for my remaining karats but then my pulls suck.. i dont think i pulled another ssr i think just 1 in 5 10pulls.. so i dont know if they decreased the odds or im just lucky in my first few pulls

Dang bro.. i feel sorry for you! i started the uma musume game about 3 weeks ago and i saved 30k carats, since i played this game, i never gacha only gacha from free tickets because i heard everywhere that kitasan black support card is the strongest support. last night i gacha kitasan black and only got one, that too from points, it made me very sad… very sad. then i made a new account and only had 11k carats from the box then gacha kitasan black and i got 3x kitasan black and 1 new mejiro queen trainer from the new banner…O_O

This old archaic Gacha System is actually insane that it survived.
I think only FGO and GBF is worse. Modern Gachas from Hoyo or Kuro have at least fallback 50/50 guarantee and a decent soft/hard pity system.
Support Cards could be considered as the Weapon Banner and there is no option to focus on the feature unit you want if you loose 50/50 once.
Wuwa is the best in the industry here with guaranteed Weapon banner pulls. This is truly a Gacha System from 4-5 years ago.

Getting 9 SSR cards after 200 gacha spins could be considered "on the good side."
It's not uncommon to spin 200 times and not get a featured card.
That's why "rerolling" exists.
You'll probably have two chances to break the limit before the first anniversary.
Paid Carats, which will be distributed exclusively for the half-anniversary, may come with an SSR exchange ticket.
Non-paying users will need time to strengthen their SSR cards.
Took me 600 pulls to MLB Kitasan, which in someway is pretty good I guess? but damn does it feel bad when I kept seeing people pulling 4 in the 70 pulls they get when rerolling now.
This game is really awful! I don't pay for it but I've never lost, and I always win the monthly Champions Meeting! It's great to beat a strong opponent and make them cry! Even SR is a lot of fun! Good luck, Aniki!
