  1. I think the in spanish translation is superior at the tea party when Hare says "there's only a way to stop a mad watch"…in spanish he says "mad people should be treated with care" and then he hit's the woor watch with the hammer XDDDDD

when i was a kid i would watch this movie only to get to the hatter and the hare scene XDD i liked it, yes, but it was a bit slow or too much for little me. But those two icons, holy crap, i loved them XDD and people focus only on Hatter cause he is great, but Hare is a hilarious chaotic bitch.

  2. 14:10 There is an old saying about only eating oysters in months that contain the letter R, because prior to refrigeration they would spoil in the summer months (June, July, August). So, Mother Oyster knows they will be eaten in March.

  3. Fun Fact: The voice actress for Alice, Kathryn Beaumont, is still alive and is still doing voice work for the Alice character, she most recently voiced her in 2023. Kathryn is 87 this year.

  4. Hey guys, fun reaction!😊

ALICE IN WONDERLAND was my favorite Disney animated feature until BEAUTY & THE BEAST came along.😊 A lot of my friends that have also watched ALICE IN WONDERLAND made comments that the animators must have been on shrooms when creating this film.😄

I have seen Dark Side of the Moon paired w/THE WIZARD OF OZ, not ALICE IN WONDERLAND..😉

The croquet balls were hedgehogs not badgers.😄

I create my own little fantasy worlds when I dream, but they never remain perfect. My perfect world would be near the seashore, where I can look out of my abode at the crystal clear water of a turquoise sea w/gentle waves lapping on the shore. I can walk around barefoot because the shoreline will be soft powdery white sand that never gets too hot & the grassy areas further inland are feathery soft. The sky will be a clear pristine blue most days, but on occasion have soft looking white & pink clouds & will turn lavender & purple as darkness falls or when it rains gently. The night sky will be filled w/stars like twinkling gems & in the winter u can see a type of Aurora Borealis. The air will smell fresh & sweet. I can feel the magic in everything around me. I can conjure up all my favorite foods whenever I am hungry. I can clean up w/the snap of my fingers. There will be caramel & candied apple tree orchards, plus an occasional cotton candy tree. My world would have flying horses that can communicate telepathically, & I can ride one after asking permission, of course.😊 I can go on, but I'm deciding to end it here.

  5. Please please please please please please please please react to Alice's Adventures of Wonderland (1972) – it's so underrated.

  6. The cadence and rhythm of Neo's first conversation with Morpheus echoes Alice's conversation with the Caterpillar. So trippy.

  7. The intro music and credits are kind of like an overture, like you would get in an opera or musical, and it was a big old disney thing to do with their movies.

  8. My to react suggestions; Last Unicorn or an underrated Ghibli film The Take of Princess Kaguya (literaly so few people have reacted to it)

In the book the King of hearts would actually quietly pardon everyone the Queen would sentence

  9. 8:01 So, writer/costumer here. Alice is an upper-class girl with a governess; no way would she be in the kitchen. Technically what she is wearing is called a "pinafore" which is when an apron includes a piece to cover the upper half of the body and the tops of the shoulders, too. In the Victorian era Alice is living in, soap is made from lye and can be destructive of things like buttons and, eventually even the fabric itself. For this reason, children often wore some other garment over their clothing when at play or school. Girls wore pinafores or smocks (the only difference is a smock has a full piece covering the back of the torso; a pinafore generally ties or buttons behind the neck and has no back), and boys wore overalls or smocks. Since Victorian children wore a layer of underclothing next to the skin and a layer of outer clothing over their clothes, this meant that their clothing rarely got dirty enough to launder in the harsh lye soap.

The underclothes kept sweat and oils off the clothing, and the smocks, overalls, and pinafores kept dirt and smoke and mud off the clothes. Smocks and pinafores tended to be made out of cotton, which was more durable and was cheaper than the "fancier" material that would have been used to make Alice's dress. They also tended to fasten with ties instead of buttons. As such, the garments could withstand more frequent washing, and they were cheaply and easily replaced when washing wore them out.

(Technically, even in a pinafore, which doesn't include a back piece for the torso, the apron/skirt part of Alice's pinafore should come almost all the way around, and it should be nearly as long as her skirt. But historical accuracy isn't what they were going for.)

  10. Secret movie: I'm guessing Happy Gilmore II

I remember seeing these old classics like this one, The Wizard of Oz (TV), Snow White, and Cinderella in theaters in the 1990s when my boys were around 5. & 7.

We also caught it… On Ice, it was magic watching all of those amazing skaters. I think some of them were even former USA Olympic team members. Then watching them reenact all of these stories but on ice with all of the cool* set decorations the kids loved it.

    (* cool… ice get it 😂 )

Thank you for the video and reaction✌️😎

  11. This was a made for TV movie, with TV and other stars of the time. It's worth watching.

Alice in Wonderland (1985, CBS) Part 1

Alice in Wonderland (1985, CBS) Part 2

  12. Most people think Alice in Wonderland was inspired by drugs. It wasn't Lewis Carroll was a mathematician (and college professor). Well, much like Einstein, he hated quantum mechanics. Wonderland was what he thought reality would be like if it worked by the same rules as quantum mechanics. Also, don't ask too many questions about why he wrote the story or the relationship he had with the girl he wrote it for. Though to be honest, no one is entirely sure about his relationship with the liddle family since he destroyed about 2 weeks worth of entries from his diary before his death.

  13. I was a bit obsessed with this movie when I was a young child in the late 80’s/early 90’s. My birthday is in November so I never got to have an outside birthday party so one year I skipped my normal birthday party and had an “Unbirthday” tea party for my half birthday in May. It was very much Alice in Wonderland inspired.

  14. The "apron" is a pinafore worn over the dress to protect from stains and etc…please please do the Tim Burton movies

  15. Dunno if you guys watched the original Mary Poppins but Ed Wynn the actor who voiced the Mad Hatter is a character in that who can’t stop laughing and gets stuck on the ceiling (coincidentally also having a tea party there). He was a successful vaudeville actor and comedian and these Disney roles were the tail end of a long career – he is also the main character in 2 episodes of the original Twilight Zone. There’s only ever been one Ed Wynn.

  16. Fun fact about Alice in Wonderland (and old Disney movies in general)
Not only is the voice actor for Alice the same voice actress for Wendy, but they also recycled some of Alice's old animation for some of Wendy's motion in Peter Pan. Disney also recycled animation from the underwater scenes in Pinnochio here in Alice in Wonderland.
Old School Disney films had a big habit of recycling many animation shots from previous films to save on money and time (because drawing/painting frames was time consuming for hte artists who were often underpayed and on tight deadlines, and shooting reference videos was expensive as you had to hire the actors and pay their fees.), especially if the characters were voiced by the same Voice Actor. Examples include Maid Marian from Robin Hood borrowing clapping and dancing animation from Snow White, Jungle Book Baloo copying Little John from Robin Hood (as both characters were also played by the same VA, who was also Thomas O'Mally in Aristocats) and Sir Hiss and Khaa (also same voice actor who voiced Whinnie the Pooh) also used same animations. Since Lady Tremaine (Cinderella) and Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty) were also both the same VA, the animators also recycled some of the facial animations.

  17. Then you have to realize you guys are praising the arc style and how fantastic it is done. But remember, this is done back before all the shortcuts, and the quick editing, if they made a mistake they had to start all over. This is back when artists actually had to have talent and ability
