that was my reaction, when i read the manga
I was so triggered this episode, Masamune literally dreamt about Yoshino and he said he shouldn't have dated Aki but instead her. Now he is half assed saying he likes her, It's all for his ego, he wanted revenge so hard and now he feels like he won her over, damn it. He even throwed her chocolates in the fire. I want to delete this episode from my memory.
This season really broke me </3 It really shows lots of versions of how love hurts.
And yes the reason why she slapped him at the end because he went in for the tongue with that kiss LMAOOO
Well yeah, the author is really cruel for making you guys hope that it will be Yoshino ending, but I'm not get into that since beginning, Yoshino and Masamune didn't have a really chemistry especially for Masamune, i mean all they doing is just planning to get Aki and comedy stuff, they don't really know about each other and don't have much moment, while Aki and Masa have a lot momen, they have peak backstory, happy momen, sad momen, they angry and fight each other, and they help each other with their problems, like the way Aki did for Masamune in episode 10, making him face his bullies and say "you're stronger and alright now, have more confidence", i know it's already settled that she's gonna win since that
I felt the same after reading the manga 😂 i only found out later that most people prefere aki
