Well honestly he kind of wanted for the reasons I thought but not for not in the exact same way it’s like the opposite of the coin you know I figured he won because like oh he’s like if I gain control or if I know who are the most powerful ability users out there
He’s like I can recruit them and I can potentially like overthrow the kingdom and I can become ruler that’s the the logic I was going with for him that’s where I thought he was headed because I didn’t trust him I didn’t realize he was trying to save us trying to save his wife
Did not realize that that changes everything all right not bad hmm I like it this is really entertaining it’s just fascinating the pride is doing everything everything she does is trying to prevent herself from becoming the evil person she was in the game he gets brilliant
It just sets up so well sets up for a great story hmm not bad not bad at all that’s pretty good it’s fun it’s uh intriguing because yeah it is a slippery slope with uh having everyone register their powers or whatnot those who have them that’s uh
Yeah because bad things can happen when you do that a little high level control potentially suppression of people with said powers you know it’s just I don’t know it’s interesting but yeah if you’re looking for a specific power there may or may not exist um you do what you gotta do all right

The reason Gil kept going to Pride to get his proposal passed is because he thinks she can get anything she wants from daddy dearest. While she may have the sway to get something like allowing Stale to have contact with is mother against all rules/laws/tradition I feel that is a far cry from something on the scale of a "powers registry".
