      Just adding to the Urban War fun, they came in VHS tape "looking" boxes. I had 2nd edition and it was the very first game I ever bought anything for ever. They came to a show in Kirriemuir in Scotland and my auld man took me in the early '00s.
      Also, they have released 2 starter sets,
      Junkers Vs Viridians was released this week

      Oathmark elf cavalry look amazing, even though I don't like elves. Silver bayonet Canadian minis look great. Be grabbing that for sure!

      I wonder if in fuzzy Justin head he meant American Warships a cashin film around the the same time as Battleship, and a few others, Bermuda Tentacles with Linda Hamilton is interesting!

      So the Urban War minis were originally made by a Scottish company called i-Kore games, and they originally came out in 2000 for a game called Void. IIRC Void's development team were the guys who made the original Mutant Chronicles Warzone game and ported the core game concepts to Void after Target Games folded. When I-Kore in turn folded around 2004 the Void IP wound up with Urban Mammoth/Grendel who reissued them as Urban War. IIRC at one point Grendel were selling those modular Hexagon and Platformer terrain sets that were everywhere in the 2000s in the Urban War line.

      Great show as always 👍. Re. the Warlord Games Epic Pike & Shotte: despite the funny size given by WG (13.5mm) these figures fit perfectly with several 15mm ranges – particularly the ‘smaller’ of the ranges. In particular Steel Fist Miniatures do a fabulous ECW range in 15mm and, when painted, are indistinguishable from the WG Epic stuff. Steel Fist are lovely minis to boot, and a great way to compliment the Epic stuff, to give you more variety.

      Sweet Christmas, those minis from Urban War are a throwback! I went and checked out the Scotia Grendel website. I don't recall seeing that game in Oz, but the style of the minis takes me back!

      At non stuff is great. Rampart is perfect for skirmish games and soon they will show off prepared terrain.

      STL files seems to me a great format for charity. It makes the collaborations like the Battle Cries KS so easy and meaningful for artists. Thanks for this compilation and discoveries!

      Another great show as always. The Archon Studios stuff looks interesting, the Kazumi Temple would be great for some Indiana Jones-style pulp miniatures I've been working on.

      Warlord's Epic Pike & Shotte are true 15mm (foot to top of head). They mix well with older ranges of figures designed before all the scale creep since the 1980s

      Archon's Dungeons and Lasers campaigns are such a guilty pleasure. I have so much from them still boxed up and untouched but still can't resist backing every one because they end up being such good value for the amount of content.
