I think Deadpool 3 will be the make-or-break point, bad enough that they soyyed GOTG to the point of #3 losing money, if they do their usual 'magic' on DP3, they will have successfully driven off all and any remaining fans, old-school comic fans and ones made from Phase 1, when the movies did NOT suck.
No amount of salvage Feige can possibly do, will bring those fans back.
I mean, all it took was a 3 minute clip from Dr. Strange 2, to make me loathe them.
Iron Man 3 was MY break point, 2 excellent movies followed by a turd that gave me "Spike" from 70's Transformers flashbacks.

After listening to your preamble, WHY in god's name do you not ALSO have a channel on Rumble? So, Charlie Cox wanted to keep working on a show and making money so he stood up for the character he is portraying. Good for him, it's too bad he still works for, as Jenna Reed in Baseketball put it, "Just look for the most heinous, vile, and horrible exploitation of children on the planet. Robert Stack : Scenario Two: Coop went to Disney World." I hate say it but I don't care anymore, I don't hate, i don't like, i just don't care. I do enough research on projects to find out if it's a Disney owned thing, if it is I don't buy. I don't care what they do anymore but they won't be using my money to do it.
These people go on and on about how important "representation" is, how people of all sorts need to see themselves in a character in various superficial ways to be able to enjoy a show or a movie or a comic or a video game. So, of course every straight white male character needs to be replaced with a black lesbian. Because "representation" is so important.
Then those straight white males ask, "Well, where's MY representation?" and suddenly representation isn't all that important. No, if a straight white male wants to feel represented, he's a racist sexist homophobic bigot. He just needs to shut up and "Don't ask questions; just consume product, and get excited for next product."
Is "representation" important, or is it not? You can't say it's the most important thing in the world, and then shit all over your traditional customer base when they're not happy about you taking away all of THEIR "representation." Not if you want to stay in business, anyway.

If you watch Meg2 there is a Chinese male who takes care of the girl and is a big hero. Meg2 was a big success in China. I’ve watched several movies on Netflix from China. They always have the father as a hero protecting his daughter and the mom is gone or dead. This is a huge dichotomy to Disney which is trying to bank money in China.
