The engineer blowing himself was pretty devastating for the Skaven, but not getting the warp lightning vortex out early on was also pretty crucial. Get that laid out blocking a charge lane into the Skaven and it forces the enemy to be careful or choose a different route altogether… more shooting time then… which the engineer would have been quite useful for. Luka’s inexperience with Skaven does show a little here, but after all practice does make perfect. All in all this was a fantastic game, Death or Destruction are winning this campaign, no doubts.

You don't get ward saves AFTER bodyguard saves. So every time the Nighthaunt player failed to pass wounds off, he was rolling his ward in addition. The bodyguard save is used instead of your ward save. You get a choice between your 3+ bodyguard or 6+ ward but you can't get both.
I hate that friggin Knight of Shrouds, my buddy plays it like that Soul fire ring and such. The thing is impossible to kill.
Beyond the conflict between the armies, there was a philosophical war here, going on in Luka's heart. On the one hand, there was the Death Agenda. On the other hand, there was the desire to push the Big Red Button. The Big Red Button won this fight, but it turned out that it all served the Death Agenda all along…
The Doomwheel does MWs every time it moves. So if you made a pile-in move you would have potentially done some MWs to the Chainrasps. Cool game.
