      The OP isn’t that much of a spoiler once you watch this episode – which is why they tacked it to the end instead of beginning with it. The big spoiler being, of course, that the 5 are still alive. Of course the OP foreshadows things that will happen later in this cour, but without context it’s like any other OP for any other series.

      And yes – Lena is now an absolute queen in this cour – and she has the respect of the squadron of who she now leads. They don’t say so in the anime, but this squad refers to itself as the “Queen’s Knights”.

      Shin's brother transferred himself to another Legion Dinosauria body and carried the group to the Federacy's border. His brother was destroyed by the Federacy but not before saying goodbye.

      this is when the show lost me. all the feels and how great the show was that i felt from episode 11 was evaporated away when i realized they all survived and the show suddenly became so generic to me lol. i've watched along with a few reactors and always drop off after episode 11, can't get invested afterwards

      I read somewhere that she named the cat “Thermopylae” (Teppy for short) in honor of Spearhead fighting an impossible fight and all dying for their cause. She was gonna go w Leonidas but felt that it would only honor Shin and not the entire group.

      can't believe i got blocked by her, i mean i deserve for spoiling one thing, the first time i comment to her story, i deserve it but i was just shocked by what happened, i do apologize for spoling stuff

      I really, REALLY wish the anime cleared up what that dream sequence with Rei meant. So many reacters were like "How tf they get here?!?"
      Big bro feeling lots of guilt and love, right?

      Lena no longer has any F's to give. The Republic made sure of that. All that is left now is to fight her hardest until the end finally comes.

      Also, Ernst is one of the most lowkey badasses in the entire series.

      I remember first time watching Lena's character growth and turn around was amazing. She went from this naive littel girl to a harden veteran.

      awww she missed out on one of the better OP songs, and animation is pretty awesome too. I had it on constant replay for awhile.

      Bloody Regina is Lena's call sign. A call sign is a moniker you earn after more than a year of service in the frontlines. Receiving a call sign means you are a veteran of the battlefield and is accepted by Alba and 86 fighters alike.
