I am semi retiring using my dividend payouts invested 7 years ago. Today I reached $10,016 monthly dividend. I also bought SVOL, TSLY and NVDY.
Great topic Ryne. Before I knew about investing in equities, I set up investment bonds for my son. Set it up when he turned 1 and putting in $100 per month ever since. He’s now 14 and there is about 23k sitting there currently. He has his own account for shares as of a couple of months ago and has put in $300 of his birthday/Christmas money. I add a little extra every now and then. Particularly when he does something that makes me proud 😂
I picked up 1 share of AMT for $175.50 and 1 share of Kr. This week.
This week I bought 30 shares of RTX and 4 shares of Realty Income. I think having investment accounts for your children is important, but only if you include them in decisions. Just dumping a pile of money on your kid at 18 years old is probably not going to end well.
When my grandfather passed he had a large trust that my father lived from. After he passed it went to a family trust. So I now manage the family trust for we 5 children.

Most who would be following your channel are probably already sold on dividend investing; but for beginners or those who occasionally want to be reminded of the power of dividends and the dividend snowball; I recommend “Get Rich With Dividends” by Mark Lichtenfeld. I just bought the third addition of the book and plan to start it next week.
