  1. Never clicked so fast on a video, I love guerrilla so much. Nothing compares to the feeling of tearing down a building full of people in this game, hearing it creak and shudder before pancaking all the dumbasses still in it

  2. Tex you are a old soul that belongs to a better time, and Phil knows that well. As always you remind me that there are still good things in this world.

  3. Not only does cool guy Tex not look at explosions, he doesn't get out of the way of them either.
Edit: Of course Big Salvage is the winner Tex, every Communist revolution needs to be sponsored by SOMEONE after all.

  4. Phil may be gone but before he left he made sure we got Tex and who knows how many other good people like Tex Phil made sure stuck around Phil made the world better than when he found it before departing.

  5. When I was a young child, a mudslide damaged most of the first floor of my home that was less than 3 years old. My father was on a West Pac float at the time, so my mother was stuck dealing with everything. The insurance agent told them that because it was a mudslide and not a pure water flooding it was "An act of god".

Well my father was also a real estate agent who with his partners owned their own real estate business, both of them were also ex-navy. So when he got back from his float, he found a different insurance company and agent for our home… my father also handled the company's rental properties and had most, if not all of them, also switch to that new insurance company. My father then personally called the old agent to inform him that he was losing over 10 home policies all at once. The agent asked why and father simply replied "Act of god" and then hung up the phone. Then he said to himself "Act of a god damn idiot!"

  6. Stay strong Tex. Never forget that you bring light to so many people's dull and dreary lives. But much like the sun which provides us all light, the lights is yours to share, but not to keep.

God bless you, Tex. You beautiful shitposter you.

  7. I like to think your brother's crime, that got him gunned down by the police VTOL is importing you. Staging a revolution? Eh, that's a problem but not a gunned down in the street problem.
Importing a guy who can swing a hammer hard enough to remove steel I-beams? That'll get you fucking ended.

Now why do I say importing? Because you are only technically human, you were clearly developed by a biological warfare company for use by the US military as a single-unit city buster with zero radiation. Or a steroid company just wondered what would happen if their product actually made you stronger rather than bigger. You are to standard humans what a railgun is to the Dardanelles Gun. Technically both are artillery pieces but one has a range of ~1 mile and damages walls, while the other can hit you from over the fucking horizon and erase your whole building. You are not a person. You are a fucking weapon, and weapons are imported.

  8. This game is so good. Its an "always installed" gem like space engineers and raft. Different kind of therapy but hell is it therapy!

  9. Most people- "oh we'll establish civilisation all through the solar system as a utopian, humancentric, post-needy society"
    ….
Welcome to Mars, here's your 15lb superbonker now get whacking shit until its broke!

  10. RF:G is one of my favorite games of all time, and it blends so perfectly with Tex's sense of "this isn't accurate but splodey stuff is fun." Thank you, Phil.

  11. he sounded like a truly amazing person. sometimes we lose those shining lights to the ever encroaching darkness. may they never be forgotten. sorry i missed the stream Tex.

  12. Respect to the fallen, Phil sounds awesome
    And a true Bamaie'n
May his soul find peace and his acts always inspire more

    Also intro made me cry

  13. I will say it makes a ton of sense why an earthling "fresh off the boat" would be able to tear down buildings. At ~38% grav your "safety standards" would be at around the same, so you have a dude who's tools probably came with him, who's basically a street level superhero at earth muscle density.

He goes up to buildings ratchet strapped together, because it just works. With the equivalent of drywall as superficial structure, and exorbitantly light metals in vehicles. Yeah one swing goodbye.

  14. I will say Oorah brother, guards the streets till the rest of us get there to join your watch. And most of us aren’t worried about that final consequence, it’s getting the job done, our buddies and other Americans. He just exemplified that in the civilian world as well. Without knowing anymore, but what was stated and being able to be proven, as in public records, if anyone chooses, a good, great man.

  15. I’m. Lot like Phil. Not tens too take away, also a US Marine…but I have many more failures, less tolerance and patience for failures, incompetence, especially of my own, and others. I’m harshest, on those that have promise…and hopefully one day someone will speak of me. M a tenth of the way you do of Phil. As I have nothing, no one, just me, everyone else just used me, for money, security, so hopefully I can at least teach and mentor the younger ones, in the work place, in how to d on things and be good, or teach them something. Lord knows I’ve tried and failed time after time in personal and professional life always let down. and must be me, though I’m great at my jobs, no matter what they are. Maybe not good enough at personal stuff? I dunno. I just hope I can teach one person, that will speak of me. Say I did good, like you do of Phil ,Tex.

  16. Sorry about Phil, yet he was proof that One Man Can Make A Difference… As they said in Knight Rider… Phil was that for you, and the guy you are playing was that for Red Faction…
