      I just saw the name and was like "Damn sounds cool" and decided to give it a shot. Regretted not discovering it sooner, what a damn masterpiece. Also the novel is still going strong, and I bought a few already

      Literally one of the best anime so far (considering I watched uncountable tons of anime). For me it is one of only 3 anime I rated as 10.
      Amazing animations, character writing, synergy, story… I also really like how they tell the story in 1st season from both 86's and vlad's perspective.Only thing I could say against this anime is crazy plot armor in 2nd part. They should either kill some of them as they did before, or make them more succesfull in fights.
      (Other two 10 stars for me are Bleach TYBW and Death Note)

      Thanks for the recommendation. Didn't know about 86 until I watched this. Just finished watching the anime , I am surprised how such a good anime is so underated. I really liked the story, animation, music everything. Really hope it gets a season 2.

      Lots of people recommanded 86 to me, but it wasn't very good in my opinion. Everything takes way too long to happen, 15 episodes and nothing changed with the 1st ep…

      Tbh the first season of this anime is a masterpiece but season 2 just turned into a generic isekai/fantasy anime. The last episode of season 1 leave an open-ending, you don’t know if the mc die or not. it makes you feel as though you are the fmc, she doesn’t know if those 86 guys are alive or not. The sadness and hopelessness on her face at that moment did make me cry a bit. But then come season 2, oh boy no one die after that (the mc group). The hopelessness of the war went straight out the window cause the mc is here and the new sister character is annoying as hell. The anime suddenly become some shitty fantasy fighting-monster dumpster.
      The music is masterpiece though

      Tldr: watch season 1, season 2 is optional

      86 made me cry, and I was sad to hear that either not much knew about it or just straight up hated it. I loved every second of it till its end. 😢❤

      Just after finishing the whole current series as of this day, I promise to everyone the golden worth of this master piece, don't even try skipping a single scene because of how boring it is to some, it is more effective that way to get more attached i mean understanding of the characters

      Yeah, 1 season is a masterpiece, completed story. But 2 season… THAT SHIT shouldn't exist, because of useless characters and stupid storyline…

      Recommendation for you: CØDE:BREAKER and Black Bullet. Both never got a season 2 so be prepared to suffer with me. But for a just cause. We can make season 2 happen. 😌 No pain, no gain.

      Everyone has their takes, sure. But this anime is still pretty damn sad.

      Imagine trying getting to know people through a radio. It took you a lot of effort, but you manage to get closer to them only to hear their deaths one by one through nothing but reports. Not to mention 86, having to obey some dude or a bish through a radio. Most of them treating them like dogs of war or even trash. Seeing Shin's brother's brain inside a robot trying to kill him is frickin depressing ngl.

      The soundtrack goes hard (Sawano Carry), the fight scenes go hard, and both Shin and Lena make me HARD.
