  1. The rolled piece on the Azure Lion is supposed to be the scroll from which MK had to venture into to help his friends and save Monkey King.

  2. Lego tries to sell us a Dark Turquoise Gorilla as an Azure Lion. Very sus. Something is going on there.

  3. I'm huge on Lego dragons but I like the Eastern inspired ones more. I got the mech dragon from the Ninjago movie, I got the Protector from Shang-Chi and I can't wait to get this dragon mech

  4. This theme is so good, but so hard to find. In Ireland you can only get it in our Lego store. It's weird.

  5. I think these really kinda wacky looking sets with all the bright colors and new molds is the perfect example of why we need a wave of Adventure Time sets. Someone needs to start a petition for it because I think it's a really good idea and I would buy all of them. We got Finn, Jake, Marceline and LSP for LEGO Dimensions but we could also get like Princess Bubblegum or the Ice King or Lemongrab or the Lich. I feel like the possibilities are endless when they have ten seasons to work off of. It might be a bit far of a reach but imagine getting a set for each season. I mean just think about it. I'd seriously love this.

  6. I love this theme but always forget about it since its only available online and only really shop in store. The fact that this theam isnt on shelves i think hurts the sales of what im pretty sure would be a verry successful theam.

As someone who is half Chinese and my partner who is also Chinese, we always get really excited about the really cool chinese theams and references that are in the show and theam and we intend to buy all the sets from the new waves, but we end up forgetting with all the other theams releasing that are in stores and that we see every time we go shopping. I really wish this theam sand show would be made more accessible world wide as it sucks to see something that means so much to us not be given a fair chance as many kids wont even know about its existence since most kids dont shop online and more casual lego fans may never even hear about it

I know their reasoning is something along the lines if "its supposed to be the Chinese version ob ninjago" or something but i dont see why these two theams cant co exist world wide as chinese and Japanese culture are not the same thing at all and its a little upsetting to see that theyre being treated as if they are the same just because they are both east asian cultures

  7. The last set… Unbeliavable. Just unbeliavable. It's like the Celestial Realms but there is rooms behind the build. Like there is a bed in there like what in the blue moon? The detailing is incredible like always in MK sets so many unigue building styles and parts. That giant Monkey King staff that there is is probaply the moment in monkie king's journey where he went to the dragon of the east to find a weapon worthy of a king. Maybe in this story it was so big that nobody could use it expect of course Sun Wukong himself? Original story doesn't tell in what shape the staff was when Wukong came to the dragon only that nobody could use it. But nonetheless a beautiful set!

  8. It’s crazy to see the quality difference when LEGO doesn’t have to pay a licensing fee. Wish DC and Marvel could get some of this treatment.

  9. Is this a regional theme? I have never seen any sets in my area in the UK. I don’t understand cause I’ve seen videyo and dots and they have both been cancelled.

    EDIT

I don’t know why I asked in the comments instead of googling it but whatever, the reason they aren’t in store in Europe is they didn’t sell too well so Lego made them online only here to make room for more themes on shelves.

  10. i love that, if my memory serves me correct, they are keeping the lore of the monkey king correct, where he gets his magic size changing staff from the bottom of the ocien when he was offered many weapons yet all of them were too light until he was offered that "if he can lift the staff it's his to take"

  11. Did anyone notice the gold wings from the first set? Someone could make a custom fig for Prince Vultan from Flash Gordon (1980).

Also…the new fish peices in the Palace set!!
