      Shadow’s suffering from not the main character syndrome in this episode. Also he sounds a bit more like Jason Griffith Shadow at times

      First Super Sonic with a giant red blade in Frontiers and now Shadow using Sonic as a skateboard in Sonic Prime? Final Fantasy Sonic X was ahead of its time on god.

      also the come at me bro from shadow had a singsong tinge to it. which ot me felt like he was mocking sonic forsaying it at all who said it first earlier over him saying it genuinely xD

      sorry for the third message but randomly ill put it down here that personally? my favorite shadow in recent times was in The murder of sonic the hedgehog of all things. xD but this? this is up there for sure.

      I actually really like that Shadow attacks Sonic. If you watch the episode again, he was eyeing the tech on sonic pretty much the whole time, and yeah, that was his plan from the beggining.
      He only put it off when sonic expressed regret, which is when he sighs and is generally hesitant, but still ends up helping Sonic anyway.
      At the ghost prism though, you can see that when Sonic lights up at the thought of a solution, it clearly rubs Shadow the wrong way, because he thinks Sonic isn't taking the situation seriously enough, and then Sonic starts getting all defensive over someone he barely knows.
      It's pretty clear that if it came down to it, Sonic would absolutely include Nine and the others in the plan despite whatever Shadow says, and that's what fully convinces Shadow that he'll be better off working alone. He knows he can't rely on Sonic to listen to him, and so he finally takes matters into his own hands.

      I 100% agree with the shadow voice. I HOPE they replace the current VA cuz in the games he just sounds fake-edgy. In sonic prime he sounds like a real person with a real personality. I love it!

      To be fair, Shadow did show that cockyness in 06 during the final boss.
      “A super dimensional being? Hah! This might even be a fair fight!”
      One of my favorite shadow line ngl lol

      I feel like silver the hedgehog plays a major part in the story. I do believe he time travels and go through different dimensions? I also wish shadow has a lot more screen time.

      Honestly, Shadow’s attitude towards Sonic made complete sense to me. Everyone and everything Shadow has ever fought for has now been, (for all he knows) destroyed and the one to blame is the guy that he tried his best to warn.

      I wouldn’t trust him to fix the universe either
