The town of Domori has been plagued by several inexplicable phenomena. To protect the town’s children, a new homeroom teacher named Nube arrives.

Though normally gentle and somewhat outgoing, Nube has a secret side: he is the only psychic teacher in Japan. Rumor has it that his left hand is possessed by a demon.

The messenger of Hell’s justice is here to take on the school’s seven mysteries, ghosts, and evil spirits attacking his students. This occult action story starts now!

From the team of Shou Makura (story) and Takeshi Okano (art) comes “Hell Teacher Nube”. It was originally serialized in Shueisha’s manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from 1993 to 1999.

Hell Teacher Nube: Jigoku Sensei Nube manga has sold over 29 million copies, achieving legendary status as an occult comic in Japan. The manga’s story, based on classic ghost stories and urban legends, has delighted readers for years. However, it is the moving courage of the psychic teacher, Nube, who protects his students from these occult threats, that has sustained the series’ popularity for generations.

Therefore, it was decided that the time was right for Nube to return in an all-new anime adaptation starting in 2025!
