Even though a collection of shorts its easy to see why Lycoris Recoil is on the list. Its popular in Japan and at the Tokyo Anime Expo in March there were more than a few girls doing it as cosplay. A cosplay you can do with your bestie.
How to Become Ordinary is an unknown show in the West. It's surprising given Honobu Yonezawa other successful series Hyouka. Would recommend if you like slice of life and/or mysteries.
Ishura season 2 is my fav so far this year.
I like how he picked underrated gems like i was super bored by watching the same anime formulas over and over again
No Gachiakuta, Summer Hikaru Died or Witch Watch? Controversial.
Holy Mother! Apocalypse Hotel is THAT popular and beloved in Japan??
Tbf, yeah, the anime is set on a real building called Ginza Wako and the trailer gave me a huge Wall-E vibe, so I'm sure Japanese are intrigued in it. I'm not sure how much money the producers spent to promote it to the locals, but the sad fact is the AOTY contender didn't really hit that much in the rest of the world.
I just recently subscribed, and I really enjoy your videos and all the information they bring.
I do have some questions. Do you have a website / subreddit / discord where all of the anime covered in your videos are listed?
Some things that would be handy would be:
Timestamps
Where is it available
Sub / Dub
Maturity rating or at least whether it qualifies as 18+
I don't know if there is an easy way to convey all of that information, but it would be handy.
Thank you again for your videos.
