I actually have the opposite opinion I think DivineZ season 2 starts off super strong with great red heirings placed strategically as Easter eggs in Season 1 and the first half of the season up until the Hikari VS Erika fight were all important and great episodes my problem starts that right after that the season tried way too hard on the Sybilt Nao villain instead of just utilizing Kuon fully so there was still the surprise reveal with Sybilt because Hikari disease, the lack of Destined One cast working together as a team or getting to know each other, on top of still unraveling the backstory of what happened to the Fated One group 10 years ago it's biggest problem was always that it tried to tackle so much with so few episodes that it made the final few episodes feel very rushed and ended making all the Destined One cast other than Hikari and Jinki (who were already established in previous seasons) feel very shoved to the side even Kuon who was the main guy for them felt like his development and backstory reveal got rush and condensed into one bittersweet ep when the Destined King got revealed. I would still recommend DivineZ season 2 tbh because it's overall a good season but the ending or remaining episodes after the Liael mirror match could've been handled a lot better.

Also I want to point out that in Yuna's episode IN season 2 she already did have this established concern of being unsure of what she wants to do and be in the future. It just gets brushed off because the mental corruption honed in on her obssessive idol fan trait that most people don't remember. If you go back to her episode you can see that in her backstory and scenes prior to the fight this has already been setup, the message was that Mikoto her idol gave her courage and happiness to continue on with her life but she still didn't get any advice on what she wants to do with life so she's at the end of day still drifting without purpose yet so this episode is actually super long overdue. I think Kyohma was the most lacking for the Destined Ones personally because while Senka, Yuna, and Kyohma were all foils to their Fated One counterpart there was at least some focus between Yuna and Senka POV whereas Kyohma episode was entirely all on Taizo POV and we didn't even get to know much of Kyohma POV so this episode tackles both issues tremendously well the writing this season has been at its greatest I think it honestly contests with DivineZ Season 1 so far they've covered so much past established stuff that were seemingly forgotten these past two episodes it's insane.

The message of this episode is phenomenal, relatable, wholesome, and warm. Yuna reminds me of Chloe from Pokémon Journeys, and Hikari with Kuon gives off such Bonnie and Clemont similarities too. I do hope Yuna sticks around for the next era, she's such a fun and enjoyable character Def my fav from the DivineZ cast and there's still so much they could do for her now that her journey to self discovery has just begun.

Oh and lastly this episode is actually a parallel to the Mikoto VS Taizo game where Taizo helped Mikoto find the courage to face her fears and just to bd unapologetically herself
