So, it looks like Re:Zero Season 4 might have just been leaked, and the release window is January 2026.

Here’s what went down: A French anime and manga website with official ties to distributors received an email from Crunchyroll listing release dates for a bunch of upcoming anime. After seeing this, the site posted the Re:Zero Season 4 release date publicly, saying it was coming in January 2026.
Then, Ice on Twitter, probably the most trusted Re:Zero news source, confirmed through inside sources that the email from Crunchyroll was real.

But a few hours later, that French site posted an update saying Crunchyroll had emailed them again, claiming the January release date for Re:Zero was actually just a mistake.
So what actually happened? It really seems like Crunchyroll accidentally leaked the release date and is now trying to walk it back. We already knew Season 4 was coming in 2026, and since it was originally part of Season 3 before production issues forced a split, a January release actually wouldn’t be too surprising, even though Re:Zero seasons usually drop later in the year.
