That scene with Kimi shivering whilest holding up the "brain freeze" sign was just the kind of hilarious comedy I was hoping for from this festival episode.
Did not expect it to then turn into an anxious part with Kimi going (temporarily) missing. This is supposed to be my feel-good, relaxing, soul-cleansing anime of the season!
The fireworks at the end were really pretty, though. Kinda surprised that Kimi – who's clearly a very normal and absolutely average dog – had no problem with all those loud noises from the explosions, though. I suppose Kimi was just experienced enough, perhaps having been to this secret spot before. What a nice doggy.
