    Hello and welcome to our channel,

    We are Reanne and Ben living in Portsmouth, England. We have been together from the age of 15.
    We brought our first house together at 23, got married at 25 and Reanne started her own business at 27.
    We have been wanting to travel the world so
    The day has finally come we have sold our business and and our house to explore as much of the world Full Time.

      If you want to know more about History of Sri Lanka.

      Tamil « from Sri Lanka » are from Tamil Eelam. They dont recognize Sri Lanka because the majority ethnic group in Sri Lanka (called Sinhalese) are racist against Tamil minority. They suffered racism, discrimination (they are less allowed to go in University, some jobs, use their language…) and slaughter during war by Sinhalese army.
      Sinhalese want a « pure » nation where only Sinhalese buddhist have the right to live. So they attack especially tamil civilian, destroy hospitals and churches (christian, hindus and muslim were victim).
      In order to erase the history of this minority they burned One of the most oldest asian library in Jaffna.

      Tamil defend themselves since this and They defend equality between people and human rights

      The reason they charge for entrance at the airport is because some passengers will bring their entire family if it was free and the arrival and departure areas will be packed 😭 Also easy revenue

      You can rent your own tuktuk. Most convenient way to go where ever you go. But you all may need 2 tuktuks ..

      While in sri lanka …dont forget to try tropical fruit juices like woodapple juice with scoop of vanilla ice cream… And Soursop drink… Avocado smoothie or drink… And Faluda with a scoop of ice cream too…

      That is absolutely crazy to see they charge to go pick someone up from the airport. the only country in the world who does this I guess??

      This is for Srilanka Authorities . What the hell these guys doing at the airport. Trying to rip foreghiners. Shame on the authorities. When somebody come to our treat them right. Dont you know these people bringing money here to help the govt. Authorities should take immediate action.

      What do you mean by culture shock when did you leave England as it's like Africa Bangladesh Pakistan India Sri Lanka China Turkey and etc etc nowadays.

      Nice video… just to say this… you have no idea what would happen if they didn't charge rs.500/- per person to get inside the airport… Imagine how it would be when you come solo from abroad, and your mother, father, two sisters and brother, plus, your mum's sister, her husband, and their 3 kids, plus, your father's two sisters, and their husbands, and their 5 kids, plus, your cousins, nephews and nieces, plus, the next door neighbour and the family… etc., etc., etc., want to pick you up from the Airport… 😃 it's funny to you… but, it is security for us… lol… 🤣🤣🤣

      my culture shock, just coming back from Lanka doing an on foot Pilgrimage to Kataragama. 5 dAYS! And the hot spots in Colombo, will make you not even look at this lady COMPARED to the LANKAN women who do not even need to leave the country! AAA. 3/10 for western standard vs 200/10 for Lanka Standard.
