I don't think, and especially don't hope, that Ultear can be the force Ignia is currently moving toward because she simply isn't at the level to distract a Dragon God like that!
I'm thinking more of a supporting role, such as reversing the dragonification of Fire and Flame to make things easier for Fairy Tail.
