This was a good episode and I will talk about the reasons why I think this was a good episode and why it wasn’t as chaotic uh as some of the last episodes but here’s the problem is even with this being a good episode I can’t sit here and lie and say I’m

Genuinely enjoying my time with the show this one good episode in episode number nine doesn’t undo the last seven episodes of just BS and just kind of all over the place storytelling uh not being able to decide where it wants to take the story it will they won’t they they

Will now he won’t and you know is like just this mess of a story leading up to this episode is like this good episode doesn’t undo all of my the bad taste in my mouth from this second season of an anime that I did truly love

Uh and that’s kind of where I am right now is I’m watches because we only have a couple episodes left of the Season f it I’m just gonna finish it off even if I have to say like I did not like and do not like this season whatsoever now again

Grain assault drop in the pan episode nine I think was a good episode we strayed a little bit away right from um yukina or whatever her name is we straight up we straight away a little bit um from maid girl okay and I don’t know

Why I’m blanking on her name when I need to know it uh but you know we straight away a little bit away from from made girl okay she was prevalent as she was part um of this episode and we moved into a weird space with him uh actually going

Out with uh Aki Yoshino Kawaii uh Yoshi knows her name I don’t know why I was blanking on it but we moved on to him going on a proper date with Aki and um the reason why I say this episode is pretty good is I think the interesting thing that this episode did

Aki was gain on her level from eating you know because he was a fat boy before she has fat girl Tendencies even though she’s skinny uh and he tried to match her in that sense right awful decision uh and the the thing is is what he’s not doing is understanding that

You you can have a coffee person with a t person you know you can have an eater with a drinker like he the the important thing you know the real the real life advice this is Dom’s Dom’s table here realize that advice is it’s less important to indulge in someone’s

Favorite things or or pastimes and it’s more important to be present during them and what I mean by that is like he this date he planned he could have eaten just like he did you know I I I think his mentality of if I have a cookie those eight years of

Working out or they’re gone and they’re done for like you you can work it out bro like you’re you’re Adam a metabolic level you’re young you’re at a metabolic level to where like you as long as you don’t stop working out you’re you’re gonna be fine eat some cookies have a

Cheat day you’re gonna be okay right like you don’t just get fat because you you know uh eight you know uh four cheeseburgers that day now what ended up realistically happening in this episode which I did enjoy is that he made himself sick you know so that was a realistic thing

But I still think his day could have been him uh you know going out eating and then after just like Aki brought up Tim’s like hey you know I I know you might be at your limit uh you can get a drink or whatever she even put that

Offer on the table he’s like no no no no no I’m big man I gotta do it you know it’s like you don’t have to be I think you know I think he his if he’s serious about Aki which I don’t think he is but if he was serious about Aki and better

Storytelling would have been just for him to you know kind of level set with her and be like the and he’s tried two different ways you know but the level says I’m not that fat boy anymore you know this is who I am not working

Out as part of my life this diet this routine is part of my life I’m very um anal about all of what I eat and put in my body I will be with you and be there but I may not want to partake in what you’re partaking doesn’t mean I’m

Passing judgment I’m I want to be with you I just don’t want to take part in what you’re doing same as you I’m not going to force you to work out with me and hit the treadmill unless you want to you know so I think it’s just like it’s just this level of

You know he’s forced himself to be that fat guy that he’s just simply not anymore and you have two people operating one in the past one in the present and they’re just not matching then you you put that on top of everything else with the Yoshino stuff with church girl right like

Boys just lost you know what I mean and that’s why I think this episode was good because it was more real it was more grounded and it was more realistic right then you have Aki talking to church girl and I keep referring to her as church girl uh fujino Mia

You have akitaki to fujito Mia or whatever and uh she was like you gotta break up with him he doesn’t love you blah blah he’s like I know and I think that you had earlier saying maybe I’m second guessing my feelings which I think happens to everybody again another realistic grounded thing you

Haven’t second guessing he’s like I think I want to stick this out and then you have Aki knowing the stuff that he brought that he hasn’t truth bombed her yet with I don’t know why but he hasn’t done it and she’s willing to look past that so you think

You have two people willing to look past a certain thing to make it work and I think that’s a good thing to have from a story time perspective but the writer or the director of the studio seemingly doesn’t want to go down that direction uh they want to throw in more fluff to

The mix so I don’t know y’all like I’m like I I’m just I’m just not enjoying the show but I did find good a lot of good in this episode I didn’t think there was a lot of good here uh I like you know I like when these more romantic things are more

Grounded and a little bit more realistic to how um kids would act you know if they’re trying to pick somebody in high school you know act like kids would act and I think this one was more grounded based on two people trying to match each other

And one trying to be something he’s not and uh another trying to be more than she is and I think that’s that’s real you know so I don’t know this episode was good though so just the the the season sucked but the episode’s good let me know what
