  1. Can that DA and the other female DA be the spokespeople for all the other DAs because they are the only ones that are effective

  2. @Mandoo Q: do you happen to know if the computer screens for the prisoner shows all the Zoom screen? (I would like it to be more like court where they would not see witnesses that have not testified yet.)
Q: If it does show everyone, do you think that influences the prisoner?

  3. I'm just gonna be the devils advocate here. They want to push "programs", but then Mr. Roche is giving the inmate a hard time for taking programs when he had no alcohol problem? Well, your sitting in prison, got nothing better to do all day, taking those programs CAN get count towards good time days, you would be a fool NOT to take all the programs you can, whether they benefit you or not! So for Mr. Roche to make him feel ashamed for doing so when the Parol Board pushes those programs just don't seem fair to me!

  4. “Programs, programs programs”. Omg I’m so sick of hearing about them. There aren’t enough programs in the world, to make someone a decent person. One more thing…not everything has to do with drugs. And not everyone has a problem with them just bc they experimented with them once or twice. Some people are just BAD people. Period. Thanks, I needed to vent those things. 👋

  5. Judge Mosley lives around the corner from me and I see him at brookshires all the time. I just lost respect for him. Soo disgusted and disappointed in him got this.

  6. This is quite honestly one of the worst I've seen. Not just because of the crime itself or how she was found but because even after 20 years this piece of chit is continuing to deflect responsibility and or accountability at all.

  7. Another terrific hiring choice by a police department by the way. It's almost like they hire people prone to be tyrants.

  8. That judge didn’t believe that police officer. He gave him preferential treatment & blamed the victim. He opted for a bench trial because he knows that the system works that way.

  9. Damn Roche is picking up for mirabella. An issue with something is by definition having a problem with it. Trying something 2 or 3 times is not a problem. Jeez.

  10. Everyone has different versions, of events, perceptions of all parties. Their actions create ripples far and wide. Trying to minimize actions, and what actually happened is what usually happens. Very few have I heard actually take full responsibility for what they did. Own what you do, it truly helps the victims, families, and all parties involved. Really need to stop blaming drugs and alcohol, background, social economics, etc., it’s all about choices when someone uses them, and they play a roll in their actions but it’s all choices to do wrong.

  11. Im rewatching this. I always get more hon a 2nd viewing and today I noticed Ms Jackson's face when Gene described what he saw happened to his Mothers face. Ms. Jackson's face drained of color and she was truly shook. If I was new and not familiar with the individual board members I probably couldn't tell but I caught it. The D.A. was awesome, all opposed were great.
I wonder if the judge gave him a lesser charge because he is an ex cop and would need protective custody for the entire stretch which is very expensive.
