Today we are going to be talking about Kali Ann Poulton. It was a beautiful day when Kali went out to play. Her mommy was close by and hurrying to finish work, so they could have fun. One minute is all it took for a monster to grab Kali and her mommy never saw her again. The monster is brought to justice, in the strangest way. So, let’s talk about Kali.

  1. The mom is not to blame for allowing her child to play outside! So many people in the comments are “perfect parents” and have never let their child out of their site, I guess they don’t sleep.. be real, a monster will find a way. Children are naturally going to obey an adult even if they don’t know them well because they trust the adults that love them, he probably told her that it was ok for her to come inside. I don’t know how long it took for the police to get permission to enter the apartments without a warrant, but it was long enough for him to take apart a big wheel?! I can’t imagine the pain that this mother has suffered. I don’t know if I could go on if something happened to one of my children, I really don’t. Her hope to find her daughter kept her going.

  2. What a horrible excuse of a human to do this to a perfect wee girl. I'm so glad he was caught for both his crimes and that every day he breathes is painful for him. Thank u Kim for sharing this story with us. Take care hunni xxx

  3. Little side note: How is Georgia going? So brave and amazing you made that move! I am working on getting out somewhere close, as well, with my 14 year old son! (I’m also a “G-mom”, like yourself and would be leaving my daughter and my “GTR”…granddaughter, back here in the San Francisco Bay Area) I am excited and nervous! You look like you’re doing great and look glowingly-beautiful😊 You play a wonderful tribute to all of these children, I’m sure they are smiling down on you and their loved ones are thankful!

  4. Rochester is a sketchy place to live. Maybe not ALL of it, but a great portion of it. What a sad story. I’ll never understand how people can do what they do. Love from New York.

  5. How?????
How can a person take the life of a child??????
    I will never understand.

Kimberly thank you again for your heart told story!!
It must be so hard/difficult/heartbreaking to research these cases.
There must be things you see/read that are so heartbreaking, that they ‘audience’ don’t even know about.
Thank you so much for doing all the heartbreaking hard work, so that we can be informed.
Thank you for keeping these children alive in our hearts and memories.

    I know you must hear this a lot;
    You are some special woman!!
I mean that from the bottom of my heart!

And on this case, my eyes where already watering up, but when you added that song……
Waterfall was what it was, plus the sobbing.
Not only my eyes cried, my heart and soul cried along😔😢😔

    THANK YOU KIMBERLY
You are truly loved by your audience💜💜💜❤️💜💜💜

  6. Am I the only one thinking I would have laid that guy the F out after that first comment about my daughter and especially after that question he asked her?! Because hell no!! That is so creepy!

  7. I suggested this case it's from my home town.. my dad still lives in the same complex and they built a garden for her that is maintained and beautifully kept to this day.. so sad she was such a sweet little girl. Thank you for covering this case❤️

  8. So terribly heartbreaking. Rest peacefully beautiful little angel girl. I’m so very sorry that such horrible things happened to you. You absolutely DID NOT deserve any of the evil forced upon you 😞💔🙏🏻♾️🕊️

  9. This is absolutely tragic. We're thet ever able to recover Kali? I don't understand the coolant part of a system??? Anyone able to explain it better? Prayers for her mom and family. Even after all these years. Just heart breaking

  10. I wonder if police ever spoke to Mark’s son. It seems like the son was in the apartment when Kali was there. If the son WAS in the apartment, I hope his mental health is okay.

  11. 13:20: Which kind of person talks that way? In my opinion, there are two ways which can make a person say this stuff in this way – of course, if that person tells the truth. In a heated argument, where that person's whole relationship with a life partner is at stake, anything that the perpetrator can understand as gettin' labeled as a coward or weakling can provoke it. But the second possibility I think of is probably much more likely. Then the guy (I'm writing this directly after you asked and when I'm writing, I always pause the video for concentration, so I don't know more than one can at the point of my time stamp) – who I think will turn soon turn out to be Mark Christie – reacted in this way to his girlfriend's threat to leave him (which might have been already a made-up decision). Basically the "Look what happens to females who dare to leave me" -threat, or, in this case, the "Look what happens to females who dare just to talk about leavin' me" -threat. Kali Poulton knew Christie and had played with his son. She was probably too young to understand why her mother was suddenly so wary about Christie. There's a chance that Kali accompanied her murderer willingly after being lured away with some ruse. And one can vividly imagine that as a young child, after an amount of time went by, Kali wanted to leave, wanted to be with her mother and be back home. This made Christie snap. It's a really classic "when abuse (or planned abuse) escalates to murder" -situation. The little girl the child molester had fantasized about for surely hundreds of hours behaves different, and kinda 180 degrees-different from how the pedophile had fantasized her reaction about before, therefore his sexual inferiority and inadequacy was exposed. So the pervert sobered up in the worst way.
A three times -child murderer in the UK, now deceased Ronald Jebson described it in an interesting way as a conflict between two personalities in one human being, "Big Ron" and "Little Ron". "Little Ron" abducted children, but they didn't want to "play". But whenever "Little Ron" was doin' this, "Big Ron" was in the background, protecting "Little Ron" a.k.a. the child version of himself. That, of course, meant: The adult, more confident and strictly more rational protector of "Little Ron", "Big Ron" just saw two liabilities who "Little Ron" had kidnapped and who could and most likely would have identified Jebson. And because "Big Ron" was the protector of "Little Ron", he murdered the children. That's what happened when "Big Ron" overruled "Little Ron". This case was the "Babes in the woods" case of 1970 in Hertfordshire/UK. The victims were two children aged 10 and 11 years old, named Susan Blatchford and Gary Hanlin. A murder investigation was never opened because it was concluded that the children died of hypothermia due to the freezing cold outside. The children's mothers never believed this bogus. Gary's trouser had been removed and ripped open which was said to be "animal activity". Still in 1970, Susan's mother said to a TV reporter that her answer to this was that the only animal that did this must have been a man.
Jebson killed another girl (Rosemary Papper) in 1974. He got a lengthy prison sentence and he belonged to those criminals in England whose prison sentence was retroactively changed to a whole life tariff (life without the possibility of parole) by the Home Office around 1990. He confessed to havin' killed the "Babes in the woods" of 1970 some time in 1998.
Don't get conflicted because there's another "Babes in the woods" case in the UK which happened in 1986.
Considering Mark Christie, I think the factors who played the most significant roles in this murder were very similar: Little Mark obviously couldn't bear even the most ridiculous form of (not even personal from Kali's site) rejection, nor was Big Mark able to handle it.
