ren and eclair like good pair, but im wonder what is eclair age if ren 17 or 18 based his introduction in first ep season 1 still it nice to see a Sword Hero try learn new thing beside use his on method of sword before
this is why ren is the most likable out of the three of them. he's willing to listen, learn from his mistakes, and is humbled by any stupid decisions he makes.

Kinda wish they’d included a flashback of when he and eclair duelled at the castle as it makes eclair being the one to save him from his curse make more sense
Man his story with Eclair would be so much more impactful if she was properly introduced!
So basically Ren has been redeemed while Motoyasu is well…Motoyasu…but less of the jerk he used to be & now hates women that ain't Filo…all that leads is Itsuki now…oh boy…that won't be easy…

Ren and Eclair are the first couple in this anime that I like. I don't think Naofumi and Raphtalia are like a couple. they were better suited as father and daughter than a couple. because Naofumi has been taking care of Raphtalia since she was little. After all, Naofumi considers all slaves as his children, even though Raphtalia is no longer a slave now because she is a hero.
eclair's way of speaking like a samurai. well… after all she is a knight.
Honestly I don't like this direction. Ren along with the Bow and Lance Hero were jerks who only saw this as a game and never cared for their teammates. Now that they lost everything, they are going to have a full redemption arc? And worst with Naofumi giving away some of his girls (girls that he saved) in order for those men to find some meaning to life?
What is gonna be next, Rishia is going to return to the Bow Hero after he threw her away? Naofumi will give Filo to the Lance Hero? Those three don't deserve any harem nor any girl for what they did. Naofumi should not give away the girls he saved for those men, they should be the ones going after their own girls. Regardless if you see all those girls as part of Naofumi's harem or not, it was because of HIS achievements that he got that many to begin with, not of these losers who lost everything.
What those three should do is start over. Just like Naofumi did at the start when Malty (aka Bitch) destroyed his reputation and his self-esteem. He restarted from scratch, killing weak monsters, until he could finally purchase the small Raphtalia, and little by little he grew his own army and restored his reputation.
But those three are so pitiful they can't start over without a helping hand from the one they loathed in the past as well.
All the hero except naofumi are annoying af. Its hard to watch when they get nice treatment after all the shit they've done
It's a good start for Ren I don't know about Motoyasu he's just 😜🤪out of his mind.
After learning about the other cursed series, I was hoping for a moment like this.
Nowfumi bringing at least 1 of the others back to his village for some form or rehabilitation or to make up with them so they can be better people.
It went almost egsactlly as I imagined it.
