The doctor who prescribed Maya’s ketamine treatments is expected to testify in $220 million case against Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. MORE: https://bit.ly/3QbHOE7
As someone who lost 5 loved ones in a year and suffered a life altering injury with chronic burning pain, the whole family does suffer and it takes a long time and a lot of grieving to find your way back.
This child was already dealing with chronic pain way before she went to JH. The definition of chronic pain is made after you experience pain that continues for 3 months with no relief or reason. Chronic pain causes depression, ptsd, anxiety, etc. This mother had an attitude about mental health care being needed by this child. Then killed herself…. All this attention is just continuiing to enhance and perpetuate the mother's view. This kid really needs help. This isn't how to do it. Continuing to validate that she has all these reasons and excuses to think she is somehow special or demaged beyond repair is not helping.
MHBP can't effect the child by definition if the child actually has the condition the symptoms conclude to. Love the judge but he's not gonna be my first request for medical aid if he doesn't get that
This doctor is very good how he analyze about depression and mental health issue he is so professional and so right what he says well executed doctor awsome
I have delt with chronic pain from spine & joint disease. Starting my late 20', I am now 70. I cannot imagen being a child and endure all Maya has had too. Like Maya I am always in pain. Some days I can stand it. Some days just lay in bed & cry. When I had my spine abrasion several series on each side. My neighbor was stunned that I was not well. On a good day I am an avid flower nut, or I paint. On a bad day just walking or holding a paint brush is just too much. Much like looking at someone and seeing their pain. Is not possible. I do not know about anyone else. I think this judge is very bias. I wonder how he would act, if this had happened in his family. I hope Maya wins, also that the jurors ask if they can ask, she be awarded more.
My heart goes out to the Kowalski family. I can not imagine going through the preventable tragedy they have all endured. Beata would be sp proud of her family for standing up for what is right.
Heck myself I don’t know the pain Maya goes through with CRPS but I do know how she felt being talked about by medical staff and isolated! I was 21 and admitted into the hospital with what comes to be a severe Lupus Flare. The doctors said I couldn’t have lupus (1991) because I was not a minority. I was not able to speak or see my family and most importantly my baby that was 2 because they had me quarantined! I was lucky because after a week I was able to check myself out. I was in worse pain leaving than arriving!!
Let this happen to your 10 year old MR UNICORN. You are pathetic! May you live with knowing you have narcissistic! Shame on you! I am so furiously! God bless you Maya and wish you only happiness and health! ❤ i love you baby girl. You only did what you know was right at your age.

I have never been more frustrated watching a trial.

Damn, addiction makes you do crazy things. Even for 10 year olds.
I hope they bankrupt this hospital and jail the criminals who medically abducted her!

Why does the camera always pan to the top of the door hinge ?
The defense attorneys are constantly disrupting plaintiff’s attorney. I feel this is a tactic.

Plaintiff Lawyers firm of Dumb and Dumber
So many people in the chat don’t know the ins and outs of hospitals and insurance.
Not going to be easy to sell a house where a death/suicide took place. Many have superstitious about that, and it legally has to be disclosed.
This doctor is very good how he analyze about depression and mental health issue he is so professional and so right what he says well executed doctor awsome
Lawyer Dumb can sit down plz
I fear for Maya, it looks like her lawyers are struggling to present and defend her case. The Judge is losing his patience
And what is the lawyer’s daily rate? How much does JH pay you? I bet you make more than he does? Since when are people not paid for their services?
The question is did JH make things worse by their treatment of her as a human being and lack of treatment for her as a patient. Yes, on both accounts.
Anyone know why they just don’t play the Netflix series to the jury. Why waste time with witnesses?
What a joke, this judge and the defense
