Back at it with chopping up scap wood to make some crazy looking and great playing epoxy resin pool cues. This one is insane with some bright colors in blue and gold and loads of metal flake and Wenge exotic wood. What do you guys think lets here some discussion in the comments and share the video and get your friends involved. I love playing pool and this cue uses a carbon fiber shaft. Beautiful cue but I'm not a fan of carbon fiber or fiberglass cues, never tried epoxy cue but my experience with anything other than wood cues is after shot vibration (harmonics?) that sticks in my mind for the next shot! I'm not a pro but can sink balls and know a good cue when I feel one!

1000$? Why is that? because you made it by hand? Pool cues are made on a lathe but its all computer guided. They are made in pieces, forearm, butt sleeve, joint pin, butt collar and most importantly they are balanced perfectly to the weight of the cue which ranges from 18 to 21oz with 19oz being the standard weight. High end cues even have an adjustable slide weight inside. I mean, this is a nice looking stick but I would imagine it plays like poop.

It may look nice but that cue isn't worth $1000. A good quality cue needs to be made from high quality wood with a dense straight grain. the wood needs to be seasoned for years to remove any possibility of warping and balanced correctly during its manufacture. Lumps of random wood and carbon fibre smothered in epoxy…. eh no. It looks nice though.
The taper on the shaft looks like trash, film rolling it on the table put together.

Aesthetically it looks good, but tbh I highly doubt the specs of it are nowhere as good as a professionally made cue. It’s a talking point for sure and I’m not knocking your work but it wouldn’t be anywhere as good as my custom made snooker cue.
