God the father was literally being a hater to his own son
In the manga, didn't his father try to kill him at the beginning of the story because he was ashamed of his magic? I hope that in the manga the protagonist isn't so sympathetic towards his father.

Everybody always underestimates Van. At 4:02 to 4:08 It seems Khamsin got isekaied after he lost to BladeWolf.
Also Panamera at 0:39, 1:44, 4:16, 4:49, 5:33, 5:58, and 7:49. 😏
Last time I saw a father and son having a dispute they were beating up each other hard and somehow an astral projection of a dinosaur appeared😂

They utterly ruined this series..there's sooo MUCH butchered and missing content from this In the Manga Van didn't show up with just a group of people. No our little Tower Defense Overlord shows up on the battle field with customized Armored Chariots with 2 variants ofmounted Ballista one repeating the other anti-air, a retractable folding shield Horses & all his troops decked out with his crazy armor. Also Van is ALMOST as strong as D he Beat the bandit leader in ep1 they turned Van into a f-king b-ch boi when the kid is more powerful than most trained knights, bro cut someone in 1/2 for pete's sakes.. Panamera was never so sexuallized and honestly she was cooler..Even tho I hate Van's father, he actually acted as the Nobles were described and FOUGHT with his overwhelming fire magic until the bombs showed up & sht hit the fan.. Van is far too childish in the anime, in the manga he did something rare, THINK LIKE THE ADULT HE IS, it's why everyone called him MATURE. Whoever re-wrote everything SHOULD NEVER Be allowed to touch another script EVER again. they Butchered the series in it's entirety & ruined far too many characters expecially Van. The art is the only redeeming factor here..barely..
Van is a genius, but his back up is great as well. It also helps that he's given them the best equipment to ensure success!
