WHAT!? RuriDragon is finally getting an anime!? LET'S GOOOOO!!!!
I fell in love with the concept when I read the first chapter on Viz Media's website a few years ago, as it reminded me a bit of the Pixar film Turning Red, but with dragons instead of red pandas. I was sad to see that it had to go on hiatus but understood the reasons why.
I had genuinely hoped that it would be picked back up again. And once it did, I made sure to buy the first volume; in fact, I bought two copies, because the first one I bought was cut wrong at the printing press, causing the entire volume to be lopsided, with panels and dialogue bubbles being cut off at the edge of the pages.
And now, after months of wishing for it to happen, I'll be able to enjoy this story in animated format! I know it will be a ways off until it airs, but I can't wait! I'll be counting down the days until it premieres! This is definitely a Happy New Year for me!
