      Good point with salicylic acid not really removing anything that well! I remember many times wondering why my blackheads were still there after chemical exfoliation. Currently I use the MAS chemical peel gel 2x week and Ilso sebum softener on the nose once a week. Ilso is the best thing I’ve ever tried for my nose and never looked back. Also, I make sure to massage my nose well whenever I use a cleansing balm.

      Kbeauty has been doing this with oil cleansers for years. I'd never considered it with a moisturizer though. I think I'd still stick to the oil cleanser though because I'd want to wash off the grits and then I'd need to moisturize anyway, so it feels like less of a waste.

      Blackheads & sebaceous filaments have been a personal annoyance of mine for many yrs… along with a super-oily nose. Tried this hack last night (using the G&G moisturiser) & it seemed to do the trick. Cleansed, used the Sungboon green tomato Ampoule & moisturised.
      Woke up this morning & the blackheads are back again ☹️😖
