Cruel??? GOD is beyond patient, gracious, and giving!!! People should try reading the Bible before they try to criticize GOD!!!
Gos isn’t cruel. Humans are wicked, stiff-necked and disobedient.
God isn’t cruel in the OT.. Man is an ungrateful, impatient, self destructive, disrespectful beast!!
GOD IS BEAUTIFUL, HOLY, AWESOME, POWERFUL… AND MEEK, GENTLE, MERCIFUL, KIND, COMPASSIONATE AND GRACIOUS.
OLD TESTAMENT JUDGMENT IS MILD COMPARED TO WHAT IS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION.
HE IS PATIENT… BUT HE IS NOT MOCKED. 😊
Amen! Well put. God is too good and our minuscule finite human minds in this physical form are too limited to understand His majesty, His rationing, His judgements. He is a great God
I used to think that God was mean in the old testament until I learned better. Thankfully God is so loving and patient.
I read somewhere God doesn’t need defending! we look at the great Flood, the slaughter of the Egyptians first born, and other instances of the wrath of God and think By today’s standard that He is cruel. And yet we are still here!
I recently just started my journey to become close to God sometimes I question him in my prayers the way he was in the Old Testament, but I accept everything he did because he knows better ,who am I to question him I pray to him every day to make me stronger to understand his wisdom. You make sense brother and I appreciate your videos, cause I’m starting now and dedicating myself to God day at a time

One of the conclusions I reached while reading through the entire OT was how unbelievably patient God was before bringing down judgment in various ways. That God is slow to anger as stated in the Bible is really very true, just like everything else in the whole Bible.
