      Great video! I enjoyed it a lot! Also, I know I bring up Hololive a lot, but I'm familiar with a lot of these songs because they were performed at various events they had. I also wanted to say that Hololive's Tokiyami Towa covered the song at 12:45 if you're interested.

      Ado songs hit so differently after hearing them in person.
      and yeah it makes sense why the list is gonna be dominated by her and yoasobi.
      Yoasobi was the biggest Japanese band for 4 years straight, their streak broken by Ado lol.
      Curious to see how the list looks in a couple years though. all things considered both of them are very new still. and a bunch of their songs only came out recently so a few more years of song playbacks….LOL

      when you ask who was gonna be number 1, and i havent seen this video, my first though is that it most be one of the ones i call "the big three of modern jpop", either Yaosobi, Lisa or Ado. even if i was wrong i was happy those three comprise like 20% of all the list

      so i did the counting for the UHHHH AHHHH after you said it and they turned out to be – "33" and also i counted ado and yoasobi songs and they were – ado 6 and yoasobi 9 making 15% of top 100 in japan just ado and yoasobi which is fantastic !!

      1:36 This song, "Harujion", is not the theme song for the anime, but the 3rd digital single released in May 2020 by YOASOBI, which was originally formed as a project to turn novels into music. The song was created based on Shunki Hashizume's novel "Soredemo, Happy Ending".

      The story depicts a woman who was bound by the past, taking a step into the future through new encounters and experiences.

      The title "Harujion" is the name of a flower, and its flower language is "reminiscence of love", which is a perfect word to connect the scene in the novel where the protagonist reminisces about her memories with him and the lyrics to her feelings for him.

      "Harujion" was also used as a tie-up song for the energy drink "ZONe" in Japan at the time, was used as the commercial song for the Nintendo Switch TV commercial, and was also chosen as the theme song for the feature-length play "Mukou no Kuni" by the theater troupe No Meets.

      1:57 Kenshi Yonezu's "Uma to Shika" was written as the theme song for the drama "No Side Game," which depicts a rugby team made up of working adults. It was also played at the stadiums after the matches, along with the excitement of the Rugby World Cup held in Japan at the time.🏈

      4:01 The singer in this music video for Vaundy's "Odoriko" is played by an actress named Nana Komatsu. She is the wife of actor and singer Masaki Suda, whose song you just mentioned as "great."       This is the most talked about song of his career so far, and he produced it as the theme song for the TV drama "Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu" in which he starred.🎉

      This "It's shameful to run away, but it's useful" is a Hungarian proverb that means "Choose where you fight." It means that you don't need to cling to where you are now, or the situation you're in, go to a place where you can use your strengths, and consider running away as an option.

      His brilliant performance and the dance that all the characters perform to this song at the end are called "Koi Dance". In 2017, posting videos of people dancing this dance on social media caused a big buzz, and even Kathleen Kennedy, the then US Ambassador to Japan, posted a video of herself dancing, making it a huge hit not only in Japan but across Asia 😆

      Even more surprising was that after the main series ended and the special drama, which was made based on the series' undiminished popularity, the lead actor Gen Hoshino and the heroine Yui Aragaki (at the time, most unmarried Japanese men looked up to her as their ideal partner 😭) ended up getting married, just like in the drama, with the added bonus of a huge happy ending 🤣

      Just to be clear, here's the synopsis:

      Despite graduating from graduate school, Mikuri Moriyama (Yui Aragaki) found employment as a temporary worker due to difficulties finding employment, but was laid off and ended up unemployed. Her father, unable to bear the sight of his daughter searching for work, begs his former subordinate Tsuzaki Hiramasa (Gen Hoshino) , who used a housekeeping service, to help him out when he happens to be changing companies, and arranges a one-day-a-week job for her.

      Hiramasa is a difficult man who doesn't like to be bothered by others, but he maintains a good distance from Mikuri and builds a good relationship with her.
      However, when her parents decided to fulfill her wish to move to the countryside when she retired, Mikuri, who wanted to maintain the status quo, proposed to Hiramasa that they consider "marriage as employment." Hiramasa saw merit in the proposal and agreed, and the two chose to enter into a contract marriage in which they were "employer and employee."

      Mikuri and Hiramasa get by by pretending to be in a common-law marriage without even having a wedding ceremony, but as they try to create a sense of closeness among those around them, such as by instituting a "hug day" to hide the suspicions of Hiramasa's colleague and Mikuri's aunt, who are suspicious of their distant relationship, true romantic feelings begin to blossom between the two.
