      Now that is a mystery… who in their right mind buys a Mars bar, and doesn't tuck into it straight away! Madness! 😆

      I had my 2021 Evoque from new (later shape same engine), on Christmas Eve 2022 it broke down the AA breakdown man saw the Alternator belt hanging down, its a common fault the geared cog on the alternator was changed on my drive Boxing Day by the AA and then I advertised it Boxing Day on Auto Trader and sold it easy for £40,500 with still 1 years Land Rover warranty, its a common problem.

      I wonder if the washer fluid bottle being cracked leaked fluid onto the alternator or something electric causing it to smoke. They then unplugged the lead thinking it was on fire or something and insurance wrote it off 🤔

      It's no doubt already been said, so forgive me, but the tyres. It's highly unlikely that a car with 110K+ on the clock has a set of 5 year old tyres on it, unless they were bought secondhand perhaps. Best guess? – some naughty person has had the tyres that were on the car and swapped them, nicking the locking wheel nut socket while they were at it. You'd hardly believe it but there you are !

      At least one owner was a Victor Meldrew with the after market blind spot mirror on the mirror. That’s a sign it’s had some servicing I think. But, Ingenium engine. I wouldn’t.

      Did they mean that the car was written off due to a bio hazard? Burn instruction to prevent anyone catching what ever it was. I’ve come across that before.
