So far this two episode are the best especially the forth one love Wednesday on a mission again. The ending was so dope. That's what I am talking about. The Hyde is out. First two were mid.
But the ending of the third episode was pretty depressing, I was like did someone died? I think Wednesday wanted us all to have depression. But the person that appeared in the last 30 seconds got me so screaming from excitement.
Ps. I have a theory that this Doctor who works at Willow Hill is the killer but the most obvious one is that it's the principale but also the music teacher even more suspicious
The grandma killed me 😂😂😂 she is iconic. Her sniffing the remains.
Uncle Fester is the best. As brilliantly playes as in season 1
What was the song name played on piano at hospital??? Anybody
Johanna Lumley plays the grandmother. She was in a British show called Absolutely Fabulous and it was hilarious. She also played in a show called The New Avengers in the 70s.
i don't think its Lois i think its soil , probably something to do with that kid with the metal heart and his wonderful inventions he never got to create what if its his machine to give people weird abilities like they used his own work now he is back hell definitely be the villain in later half of the next batch.
Why is Laurel/Thornhill's hair still ginger?! The portrait in last season showed her as a child with blonde hair. Unless someone is supplying her with hairdye, this doesn't make sense
One of the best thing this season is Gomez and Morticia. 😅😅
"Yes, we are having a color war. But you also have to be fast. So it's a race to the finish, a color rac… Wait. maybe we did not think this through."
Don't forget that the actor playing Tyler was Muse in Daredevil. He was ripped in that too. Possibly filmed both around the same time.
The reason Fester’s personality is different from Christopher Lloyd’s, is because Fred Armsen is playing the charatcer the exact same as did Jackie Coogan on the original Addams Family TV show. Even right down to the voice. Lloyd made up a completely different version of Fester for the movies. He also played Fester as Gomez’s brother, whereas he was Morticia’s uncle on the TV show. His name was Fester Frump, not Addams (Frump was Morticia’s Maiden name on the show).
Jackie Coogan spoke with that same high pitched, nasal voice. His voice and mannerisms are perfectly the same as Uncle Fester from the TV show. Many of the characters in Wednesday are modeled after the show, rather than the movies. Except for Gomez. I don’t care for this Gomez. He’s too passive and laid back. This Gomez is nothing like the TV show or movies.
Gomez was far higher spirited and no one can match Caroline Jones as Morticia. She was the perfect mortician. I liked both John Ashtin and Raul Julia as Gomez Addams. Raul is my favorite though. No one has ever played Lurch as funny as did Ted Cassidy. His groan was perfect.
Jenna Ortega has played Wednesday much like Christina Ricci. It was brilliant the way they worked Ricci into last season. Ortega has done an incredible job with the character. I love the character of Wednesday. In the show, she was only around 6 years old, so she didn’t play a big role, like in the movies and this show.
Oh yeah, I was wondering how they would work Christopher Lloyd into this show. Making him Professor Orloff as a head in the bubble was brilliant! They keep finding ways to work in old cast members from the films.
I really wish Anjelica Huston ends up being Ophelia since she’s older than Morticia but I know that’s a long shot lol.
I think the camp episode was the lighthearted fun before the asylum mayhem as well as a nod to the movies. You guys really need to watch Yellow jackets, Christina Ricci is awesome in it. ✌🏻
This season 2 part 1 is full of some lazy writings. Episode 1 was the best of the lot.
Wednesday finding out about Bullpen, the whole zombie plotline, Involvement of grandma, the birds always keeping a watch, stealing the clues, even the climax at Willow hill seemed lazy writing, rushed and full of plot holes.
Edit: And how the hell did Agnes get the blueprint and Enid and Agnes reach willow even before Wednesday!!
The mystery is good and I enjoy Wednesday herself but I still don't understand this out of character animosity between the Addams. I think this story would be much more entertaining if they kept them funny and apart from others and close like they always have been.
But I'm enjoying Wednesday and Ennid which is a friendship that seems the most similar to the og!
Edit. Ugh okay I swear this is the LAST complaint I make about the Addams but if Gomez was the actual Gomez Addams in this show, he would be able to break out Fester and kick ass. Not scream like a ninnie when he saw a zombie.
Wednesday's arc is about her hubris and learning that she can't always be in control. Even Goody herself told her "you can't control a raging river, you have to learn to navigate it without drowning" and she goes around declaring she mastered her abilities and then they knock her off her feet and stop working. She thinks she can control the school, and shake off the sudden popularity but she can't. She thinks she can uncover the mystery and ignores the advice of her mother. People tell her to surrender to the chaos and let go of control, and she just can't help herself.
And now, at the end of the first half of the season, Wednesday inadvertently started a chain reaction that led to Tyler, who threatened Enid's life, breaking out and Wednesday is injured and unconscious and is not in any position to protect her, and saving and protecting Enid had been her goal all along. She lost control of everything after being convinced that she had everything handled. It's kind of a continuation of her arc in season 1 where she learns to open up, but needed to be rescued in the end, again because of her hubris, but she's not there yet and this season is challenging that part of her personality.
7:51 the mystery meat contains chicken brains
Agnes, the invisible fangirl, looked really familiar to me… and then I remembered: she's Laura from Silent Hill 2! 😲
i liked episode 4, but that whole sequence when the test subjects got released and started going at the crow lady, i felt it could have been directed a little better lol.
4 is the best episode so far I can’t wait for part 2 i will be rewatching part one a day before Uncle Fester has become my favourite character
It took me a minute to recognize the actress who played the Avian, it's Heather Matarazzo AKA Lilly Moscovitz from The Princess Diaries.
I can understand where everyone coming from in the discussion 1:28:58 but since Netflix part 1 and part 2 there projects they had to write and direct it that way and it ruin the momentum but I truly believe everything will come together in part 2
Hunter Doohan- Hyde dude….. he is jacked up because he actually played Muse in Daredevil. Dude clearly enjoys playing these kind of characters. He was also the son in "Your Honor'.
Greg's apathy is rubbed off from Wednesday's apathy toward the living
1:00:25 youtube subtitles are a bit off lmao
An Enid storyline I think you missed is her connection to Thing. She's the only one who treats him as a person, saving him from the fall, giving him a home, and offering him to hang out on his birthday.
gregs been looking amazing lately
Enid was always on that edge of annoying and fun in season 1. Did not like her season 2. I disliked episode 1 of this season enough that I thought not to continue it but episode 4 I liked.
You all the deaths minus the first two were all Pugsley and WEdnesday's fault. Pugley brought the zombie to life and made terrible decisions which got an innocent teacher driver and questionable scout master killed. And because wednesday couldnt even close the door behind her, all those people in the asylum died. I'm not sure how much the main asylum lady knew, but she seemed like she really wanted to help people and the guard seemed nice for the most part.
Sooo the mask of Zorro next? 😊
I didn’t think I could dislike Billie Piper much more. Then they let her f*** up one of my all time favourite songs
I think the woman saved by Wednesday was Tyler's mother
so far this zombie has only consumed normal humans no outcast. i think when it does it will gain the abilities too. but that is just a guess or prediction. he ate the old man brain who he seem to know so maybe it was his old enemy and he made him a zombie by trapping him under the three with the crow maybe the old mans daughter helped trap him. and the lady in the cell could be the original owner of the powers she stole. i have so many theories i can´t wait to find out the truth
"Oh, he's campfire guitar boy! You'll never beat that!" lmao
