  1. Have you ever tried photographing wild boars? Could be a fun little challenge, since they're really shy. I actually ran into some by accident two days ago while I was out trying to photograph foxes. On my way back, a family of 3–4 wild boars with a bunch of piglets suddenly appeared just 10 meters in front of me, out from dense bushes. That was obviously WAY too close for comfort, but it really reminded me how they're often nearby, even though you almost never see them.
This happened in Southern Sweden btw.
    I love your videos btw!

  2. Thank you, Morten, for taking us with you into your quiet, powerful world full of nature’s wonders. In every image and every word, one can feel your deep love and respect for the animals, the forest, the wind. That honest joy you express with every encounter – it touches my heart as well. It feels as if I’m sitting by the campfire with you, smelling the damp earth and listening to the soft beat of wings. Thank you for your presence in this world. lightfull greetings Micha

  3. What kind of mosquito repellent, I always end up with the Deet stuff, but think it is really harsh for the skin, so trying to not use it. Is there anything else that actually works ?

  4. Tusen tack för denna vackra, intressanta och lungnande video, Morten 😍Härligt grönt överallt. Har du försökt lavenderolja som myggmedel? Önskar dig många nya, givande fotoäventyr!

  5. I could watch this all day. Best slow tv I know. Hope you keep making these relatable, down to earth videos for many years to come🤞🏻

  6. Thanks for all the work you put into this video. Do you take any precautions against be shot by a hunter? I do not think you would want to skulk around wearing green, tan and brown here in the US during deer season.

  7. I really enjoyed that. It reminds me that I haven't done enough hammock camping this year, well not as much as usual. A few solutions for you I picked up along the way. Put your tarp in sleeves, they're usually called something like snakeskins. It means you can have it up, even if you are not using it, and if it starts raining, you can just pull back the sleeves, and drape the tarp over your hammock, even if it's difficult pitch it like here. Also with those folding chairs, you can get sort of a mesh square, with reinforced corners to push the legs into, which stops the feet of the legs sinking in. Year ago, I camped out just with a poncho around me, to be up at first light for some photography. I stood up at first light, and a Red Deer hind leapt out of the Bracken very close to me – just a few metres away. I've no idea if I had lain down where it was sleeping or if it had come in after I went to sleep. I don't know who got the biggest shock, me or the hind.

  9. For the gravy fry up your sausage. I cut the skin off so you can crumble it. Once browned pour in some milk and slowly add flour. You want to make sure you leave all the grease too, don’t drain the sausage. Once thickened flavor with salt and pepper. Serve on your favorite biscuits.

  10. Nature offers many beautiful moments. Often dangerous and with lots of action. It's great that you always go out and take us with you. 😊

  11. Thank you, Morten. It is always such a great pleasure to watch your videos as you take us along with you on these wonderful trips into nature. If you want a tip for the insect repellent for those tiny little flies (midges) and the mosquitoes. Try "Avon skin so soft" but only the "dry oil spray" one. it genuinely works and UK SF actually have it made for them in completely unscented form. It was found out by accident during jungle training in Belize back in the 1980s. See you out there for a coffee one day, and take care!! ☕👍😊

  12. As you said at some stage Morten, an awesome forest indeed. And an awesome video of a really interesting hunt over the days. All in all have to say I envy everything you got that trip. Including of course some of the pictures you made. Best from New Zealand. (and by the way, we also have some great forests and hunting here). Cheers

  13. Lovely interlude! You should come to Rochester, New York. In the county park just down the road we have 1100 hectares of deer, fox, birds, lakes, forest, and trails. Looks very much like the woodland in this video.

  14. Is that Rold Skov in Jylland? This reminds me of the camping trips I went on as a kid or those cycling trips where we slept at shelter places. I always loved those trips—sleeping outside in the rain under a cover. You can’t really describe it; it’s something you have to experience yourself. Packing or unpacking your camping gear in the rain there’s just something special about it. Also, why not have some biscuits or muesli bars for snacks? It’s never good to have low blood sugar.
