❓How many doorways have you passed today without noticing?
🔥This video has been made possible through the kind support of: 👽@jimvanhall217 👽(YOUR NAME HERE WITH A SUPER THANKS)
Sounds good ☕🌞✨
I'm currently practicing the Stargazer technique, focusing on passive awareness before sleep. Since the Event Boundary method treats the bed as the final transition of the day, how can I best combine these two techniques? Should I briefly acknowledge the bed as an event boundary before lying down, or would that disrupt the passive nature of Stargazer? Would integrating both methods enhance my transition into lucid sleep, or should they remain separate?
Fascinating, promising and good that IS daily practice😊
…and what if I add concetration on whats in my dreams most occuring?not just observate the room but to observate the right thing?like "forms" "action" "context" or "inner awareness"?who read dr La berge's book knows what Iam talking about. To concetrate on what in your dreams most dominate. For me now strange looking objects so I cross doorway and look for the objects…etc or Bad thinking about it?
This makes so much sense! When falling consciously into a dream, it already feels as sudden and natural as walking through a door… I will definitely integrate it in my daily practice. Thank you again, for the video!
Standing in a room
Unaware of how or why
Could this be a dream?
I’ve been working on my WILD’s, so this could help raise lucidity when I enter the dream. ( switching scenes ).
Oh I like this one, definitely adding it to my daily attitude
not every door i am passing through now is gonna be me getting triggered a reality check but i am definitely gonna be more aware of my surroundings and my emotional states whenever i go through a door and at home a micro Reality Test would be easy enough, but due to hayfever isseus i need another test that works when the nose pinch is not working (when i did it). maybe looking at my hands, or reading some text and then look away and look at it again. as for that event that you forget what you was going to do when you enter a new room, thats scarily similar how i am getting lately. i forget more than years before and yeah, its very annoying but now i can see its helpful. good video, learned a lot from it. thanks.
I like it!
The doorway effect happens to me so much, but instead of actually moving through doorways and into different rooms, it's with apps on my phone. I'll want to look up something related to whatever I'm thinking or try to look farther into a topic from a video, and as soon as I open up the web browser, my brain will go blank. I'll just sit there and blink a few times (like that would help it) before going back to whatever I was doing beforehand and remember it. It's even happened while I've been writing this comment, going from my notes app back to the video and making sure I'm understanding stuff! Hopefully being more aware of this phenomenon will help with general lucidity (brain has been rubbish the past few days haha)!
Keeping this comment shorter, but great video that I hope helps people! I really like these types of videos that takes underlooked everyday happenings and turns them into something beneficial!
I used to do something like this.
Though I didn't think of it in connection to doorways; I thought of it as paying attention to changes of venue &/or change of activity.
This kind of attention definitely seemed to really help me maintain a more alert, actively reflective awareness, which definitely seemed to influence my mental state towards being more lucid when dreaming.
I don't know why I stopped — I'll definitely have to try this again.
Love this video. This is awesome!
Bedankt
Fascinating! Thank you.
WAKE UP BABE DANIEL LOVE POSTED AGAIN ‼️
The three step is confusing but I shall have ago at it and see if it works, Love to have a lucid dream, don't remember my dream much this would be great to try.
Good work
Thank you!
Your information open new points of view to me.
I like this one daniel !
if you have a lucid dream can you create a person that should always be in your dream and tells you that you are dreaming ?
Honestly its so hard to catch those changes in mental states. Within a few minutes of watching the video im already missing them. Oof. Somtimes i feel as if its really hard !
Daniel is the best on lucid dreaming.
Is there not a KISS approach for lucid dreaming? Keep It Simple Stupid
I thought you moved the ring to see if we would notice. I've been doing something similar for about a year. Whenever I enter a room (every couple of rooms really), I ask/remind myself why I'm there, and look behind me to see where I came from. I also have a digital clock in almost every room in the house to look at when I get there. It has let to many lucid dreams.
I do something like this. I’ll just meditate and take long drawn out breaths until it feels like there is a cloud in my head. I tell myself that I’m dreaming, go to the door, open it, and then state what I want to do. Sometimes I can feel the wind against me like I’m flying, or feel myself growing fur.
I think this will also help keep the lucidity during dream transitions when we drift from the first dream to the second or even when we switch action because yesterday I did lose my lucidity when I started talking to people and entering different places
